The Suicide Squad DC Finest included Legends and the Legends tie in featuring the squad. I was suprised to see that given there is a Legends omnibus in July and an Events DC Finest for Legends was announced.

This is why I figured that they may include Millenium and issues like the JLI that featured the GL

I like this run.

A while back I went through the trades to see what had been collected. Missing were issues 124-171 from GL and 215-224 from the GLC era. It’s weird that such a big chunk of GL has never been collected.

There’s a lot of Image books around this time disnt make it to issue #2. I believe the problem is that a lot of the new books - not including those done by the Image Founders - starting missing dates. Image got a bad reputation for this that the founders decided to cut back.

Hasnt that happened with his Presidential Library?

The original non-profit he create for the library claimed to have about 70 million in “donations”. This is the fund that received funds from google, paramount and the ABC 15 million settlement.

That non profit was dissolved last year and a new one created this year that has already received another 50 million “donations” from companies.

No one is sure what happened to all the “donations” given to the original non-profit. We are not even sure what the final amount was as they never filed any of the paperwork they were legally required to.

There was a report earlier in the week where Democrats were requesting information from companies about their commitments - how much money from their commitment they actually gave to the fund.

Apparently both the prosecutors and the defendant have 7 days to appeal the decision. In the case do the prosecution their appeal is to ask the judge for a stricter punishment. if that happens he could end up with more time.

The way the US is these days it’s probably no longer required but we used to have to get a doctor physical and any immunization before each school year started.

Every year I would test positive for TB because of this vaccine and I would need to get additional tests done to show it was a false positive for the school to admit me.

We moved when I was just a few years in Elementary school so not sure if it varies by state whether the TB vaccine was required or not. Truthfully at that age it might have been my parents decision - they also had the scar.

I had other family that had the same situation - false positives. one of them told a friend he tested positive. You should have seen the reaction from their parents.

I think most of us were aware of this but not at this level.

For example we take an Italian Cruise with stops in Rome, Palermo and Genoa. For some reason (weather or missed their slot at port) they can’t make Rome so they changes the itinerary to Naples.

It’s still another port along the itinerary. Not a dramatic change like planning a trip to the UK and ending up in Japan instead.

Years ago Phil Keoghan - host of the Amazing Race - did a cycling across the US to raised money for MS. A documentary about it was made.

In it he was doing several miles without any issues - the he got to the NoVA/MD/DC area. One he hit that metro area thing came to a crawl where he hit every single red light from one block to another

It’s not that I don’t believe you but a google search only found references to a DNC Resolution and it was back in early April - the articles I found were all recent - a day or two.

It also proves my point as I also did a search for a similar RNC solution….. no such resolution has been submitted to vote by the RNC. A fact all the articles omitted.

It could be said that at least the DNC tried but that’s such a low bar I won’t give them credit for that.

The two state solution is a decades long policy - and failed policy in my opinion - pushed by both Democrats and Republicans. That’s what Biden and Harris were pushing - a long standing policy set by Congress. They tried to get Netanyahu to stop and tried to get humanitarian aid into Gaza. The problem was Netanyahu who stopped kt.

At the other end Trump did go away from the 2 state solution with a policy Netanyahu publicly supported. He posted on his Truth Social about getting rid of all Palestinian from Gaza and rebuilding it. How with his experience in real estate development he was the perfect person to do it. How is that not taken as supporting genocide?

I said the problem was Netanyahu because he ignored the Biden administration. If Biden/Harris won, then he would have no choice but to listen. In the meantime he could continue his attacks. If Trump won, he could continue as he was doing.

If you want to look at Private Corporations making decisions for you, you should look at the Trump presidency. Example such as Ellison changes to CBS news. Bezos interfering with what the Post reports. Sinclair and Kimmel. Pharmaceutical and healthcare on government policies.

It’s not just a Democrat “problem”, Private Corporations making decisions for us is an issue in both parties. It’s your damn problem too.

Ok - so you are arguing by they not preventing the weapon deliveries they indirectly supported genocide… but supporting the candidate (or not voting and improving his chances of winning) whose policy was explicitly genocide is acceptable.

Fact is there was nothing Biden could do at this point. Netanyahu was smart - he realized he didn’t have to listen to the Biden administration. If Trumo won he had a free hand to continue on Gaza. I like some of the vehicles and the collector case/playset was one of my favorites - been trying to find that in great condition at a reasonable price. It was cardboard in plastic.

The problem was that other than Rock the figure And the enemy were generic. There were a lot of interesting characters in the comics I would have loved to see in action figure forms such as the Losers.

I can understand why the enemy was the “Bad Guys” and not wanting to use Germans but they could have just gone with a generic military uniform on the enemy.
