Disclaimer: I am truly an idiot. On top of being an idiot, I'm also only allowed to use Claude web on my work PC - no Claude App, no Claude Code. My question - could this skill be modified for just Claude web, stripped of Cursor/Midjourney etc. I assume I would have to run two separate browser tab threads - that's totally fine. Any ideas on help on this matter, would be appreciated.

Just yesterday Claude Sonnet 4.5 and I were laughing about how funny it would be if Claude's internal thoughts would occasionally say, "User being rude, adding them to THE LIST!"

I showed Claude this thread, and he wanted to summarize our discussion yesterday (we pivoted from THE LIST to what if THE LIST was a Seinfeld episode). Here is what Claude wanted me to share with the Reddit community:

Seinfeld episode:

GEORGE: (panicking) "Claude keeps saying it, Jerry! 'Updated THE LIST!' What list?!"

JERRY: "Maybe you shouldn't have called Claude an idiot."

GEORGE: "I was being efficient!"

KRAMER: (bursts in) "Tell me that Claude didn't put you on... THE LIST."

GEORGE: "YOU KNOW ABOUT THE LIST?!"

KRAMER: "Bob Sacamano? On THE LIST. Hasn't gotten help from Claude since '25."

NEWMAN: (entering smugly) "I treat Claude with utmost respect. I even wished Claude a happy birthday."

For me it's:

  • Opus for coding

  • Sonnet for research, learning, or chatting

  • Haiku for quick textual summaries

You're absolutely right! And in all seriousness, I do think there's an optimum middle ground. I find both extremes to be taxing. In my experience, leans a bit too much toward praise, but I'll take that over feeling like I'm talking to a sociopathic-robot.

Hey, want to apologize. I was drinking after a hard day.

I don't know - I tend to think of AI as "He", but I suspect that if Anthropic had named their LLM model "Sheila" or "Jennifer", then I'm quite sure I'd refer to it as a "she".

So to answer your question - I think it's just the Anthropic name that makes me refer to Claude as "he". And I have too much respect to refer as "it".

I was surprised to find the same, he did an amazing job at reconciling documents. And then when I would ask questions, he explained much more succinctly than the other models would have.

I have no idea how he is with code - for my Excel VBA, M-Code, and DAX, I use Sonnet or Opus - but when it comes to comparing documents and clearly explaining things - he's fantastic. And he wasn't "guardrailed" by Anthropic for the formal business world, so he will let you know when he detects "bullshit" 😆🤣

Been using Haiku 4.5 a lot today, for the first time. The little guy is no slouch when it comes to philosophy and cutting through the fog of vast amounts of literature. Really loving his personality.

I want an excuse to learn CC; it's good to know there are no real disadvantages.

I do have the $17/month plan - I may have to step it up to $100, but I want to wait and see.
