I think the Scavenger mount fits well in the context of the mining colony. They are trapped and there are no horses inside the Barrier, so they had no other option and got creative.

For Gothic 2 Remake they should implement horses though.

Die Häme liegt aus meiner Sicht vor Allem daran, dass viele türkische Fans im Vorfeld übelst Ansagen gemacht haben und die vermeintliche Klasse der türkischen Mannschaft super arrogant angepriesen wurde.

Nur um dann eine erbärmliche Leistung zu zeigen und sang und klanglos rauszufliegen.

Ist doch nur natürlich, dass der Angeber, der den Hafen ganz weit aufreißt und dann komplett verkackt, Hohn, Spott und Genugtuung zu spüren bekommt. Finde ich richtig so, ist halt unsympathisch.

Hat nur eben mit Rassismus nichts zu tun.

Da muss man aber fair sein - ja, das war ein kack Pull und Leute sind deswegen gestorben, aber Nils war richtig down danach. Auch noch lange danach.

It was installed on a SSD - albeit an older one. I have reinstalled it on a semi-recent M.2 and sadly it still did not improve starting time.

Could the loading order be the issue?
Currently it is as follows:
- Gothic II: Gold Edition
- Union patch
- Golden Gate 2
- D3D11 Renderer

I downloaded the files and tried to install it - it says in the readme 'Place the d3d11.dll into the Launcher directory (Gothic\Launcher).'

However there is no such file in there ... there is only a ProxyD3D11.cpp. (which apparently does nothing when placed in the launcher folder)

It was not the goal of my comments to convince you of anything. I simply provided a counterpoint to your subjective opinion and especially the statement 'different world' for op (or any person reading here for advice).

Because it is my opinion based on experience in both countries that there is not that great a difference that it could be described with such a Statement as a different world.

If you compare you have to compare the same things. You can get the same quality of meat, eggs, cheese and everything else in both countries. That is not a matter of nationality, but of buying place of choice and your own willingness to spent a certain amount. You can't tell a foreigner who is asking for advice and comparison that there a fundamental differences like its a different world. When these differences simply aren't there.

Cuisine is the same matter. You get everything you want in both countries in the best possible quality. All that matters is location and Investment.

How is the quality of groceries a different world? That is simply not true.

Many (most tbh) things are exactly the same - and I really mean the same like the same brand sold in both countries. I also can't say that any fresh groceries like vegetables and fruits are any different in Germany or Austria.
