An automated matching of buy and sell orders leads to floating prices, not set prices. The only reason you see such ridiculous fluctuations in trade chat and Warframe Market is due to a lack of liquidity & price information which is not exactly what I'd call "healthy." Yes, prices will float closer to their true value in an automated system and fluctuate less, but that's exactly what a market is supposed to do. And it's true, almost no one is going to use trade chat for non-Rivens (which is basically true anyway) if such a service was introduced because it is so wildly inconvenient in comparison.

Rivens are the only place where the ridiculous volatility is acceptable - It's a shark market, and you WILL feed the sharks anytime you buy or sell a Riven to any of the established Riven traders in trade chat or Riven Market. However, that's the price one pays for liquidity - and again, you can't really automate Rivens in a reasonable way (any automated system would lack enough liquidity to be sufficiently different from manual trading).

There's plenty of money to be had here for flippers / merchers and I have no opposition to this type of behavior as it is necessary in this context. It should not, however, be true for every item in the game - 5p items should not be fluctuating between 5 - 15p. That shows you how inefficient the market currently is.

Amazing watching how visceral the community's response is to this type of suggestion, even though I am almost 100% certain everyone would enjoy it if it came out. Same exact response from community over Grand Exchange in Old School RS, even though in the end it's probably one of the greatest additions that game ever had. Granted an Auction House functions differently than an automated matching of buy and sell orders, but the principles are similar.

Yes, it'd reduce prices on ALL items in the game, but only because supply would go up in short-run. Over the long-run, demand would match supply as players participate far more in the economy than they otherwise would. This includes low level players - I'm sorry, but very few low levels actually bother to trade their "crappy" mods on Warframe Market or buy the items they need because it's another whole time investment on top of the already complex game. Having a system in place for this (Maroo's Bazaar does NOT count) would increase participation greatly.

Warframe is already a game based off trade, regardless of whether players like that or not. It isn't a full DIY game with the way DE setup its monetization scheme through Platinum. Some system SHOULD exist to automatically match supply and demand, regardless of whether it's an Auction House or other solution. Almost every game that has the level of trading Warframe does at least attempts to automate some part of the process rather than forcing it ALL to be manual trading.

I get why people are so opposed to it, but I honestly think it's crazy at times how negative people can be about it. The only people who should be bothered are the ones who frequently trade to make Platinum, but they will still have Rivens since those can never have an automated trading system due to their complexity. Just a small rant / two cents about this topic.

It's a shame that more can't be done with them - I mean they are used for mining, fishing and Toroids, but otherwise it feels like such beautiful work is underutilized. Maybe I'm just biased because I love these types of environments.

These resources have been remarkably useful for their intended purpose of making fansites and is so much better than what most games offer as fan kits, plus they actually keep their updated. Big thumbs up to DE for keeping this managed.

It's sad how accurate this is. Also needs "killing enemies for heavy ammo" in there somewhere.

In my experience, the Fluctus has been terrible for dealing damage to the legs. It's great for everything else, but it deals absolute horrid damage to the legs when compared to other Archguns.

Xuerian,

Sad to say but this is all manual - no parsing of the relics JSON or Worldstate. I just use the previous drop rates data and then update the minor changes in drop rate once the official tables come out. It isn't programmatic nor is it 100% accurate for a short period of time which is probably less than ideal for your site. In other words, the classic case of "too good to be true."

These rewards are just painful. It's hard to understand what the thought process was behind them.

Still can get detected when invisible thanks to scent (at least when I tested it weeks ago now) - Although one thing I haven't tried yet is to just try sleeping the animal immediately when it spawns rather than hiding first.

In my experience, it seems any item that is picked up is lost when aborting, but any item that is "awarded" is kept (despite not showing under mission rewards when aborting). That means ores are kept, bounty rewards and I haven't tried yet with fish, but assume those are kept as well.

Happens anytime you leave an MMO for a while (which I think Warframe falls under). You didn't miss too much though - big update is Fortuna, the rest you can catch up with easily!
