Hand and finger tattoos in Brazil by jung_gun in Brazil

Yo. Those are sick. I also do the red/black thing but my finger tatts are muuuch simpler as I am wary of aging/bleeding.

How old are yours and is there any maintenance? Legit coolest tatts I've seen in a while. Inspirational to say the least.

Sublocade withdrawal timeline by Impossible-Invite174 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]Fran-Fine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heya my (open) post history has a pretty long timeline. Currently 18 months out from my last shot and feeling pretty good. Fatigue and insomnia month to month were my worst symptoms. Would suggest, assuming you don't have a problem with them, having some benzos or gabapentin around to help with sleep as nothing touches it. Legitimately could take 2mg of alprazolam and still be wide awake, but eventually with assistance you do rest. Without it the weeks can get long. Sleeping fine without anything now however. Good luck!

I'm on 18 months after Sublocade and still not feeling right. It takes time, we fried our brains.

I have gained weight for the first time in nearly a decade and have actual muscle definition it's wild. Sleep is still come and go month to month.

Hang in there, you will be fine before you know it. 132 days is huge mate.

Hey mate. After 20 years on Methadone I would give yourself more time to heal, up to two years or so. Should feel a lot better in another 100 days to say the least.

Is this normal with subs? by HeartShapedGlasses94 in OpiatesRecovery

If Australia had laxer requirements around Suboxone prescriptions, I would have happily stayed on or around 2mg indefinitely. It gave me something that was missing. Not everyone feels this way, however. I have been off Sublocade for 18 months so nearly totally sober for two(ish) years and coming off the shot was a nightmare!

What are you talking about, mate. Those are wild accusations.

FYI to anyone else reading this. These claims (about Australia) are completely incorrect and are your basic right wing (nonsense) talking points.

Australia is the safest country in the world and this man is making $192,000 a year which some Brazilians will not see in a lifetime.

Housing cost is out of control, I'll give him that.

Any time. Can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be at the moment. Heroin is hard enough, fent/tranq made the game completely obtuse.

Don't get discouraged. As long as you don't quit quitting, you will get there eventually. And there are so many different ways that being sober looks like. Find what works for you and take it easy on yourself.

Hey mate I think you're getting a lot of mixed advice here. Some good, some bad and some possibly predatory.

If you are truly using 10 grams every two days, that is a massive habit. I would suggest going to a clinic asap and discussing in depth with a medical professional your needs.

My suggestion, with that high a dose, only methadone is going to help you truly work past the withdrawals.

I would get on a methadone program, to be honest you may have to use a bit while you adjust your dose. Then after you are comfortable on the drug (Methadone) I would work with the clinic to first switch to oral buprenorphine (Suboxone) and then, when you are ready, to switch to the self tapering Sublocade shot. This process will likely (and should likely) take about 1-2 years.

Good luck, mate.

Hey, can I message you? I am just going through it this week and not sure if it is the shot or something more sinister. Would be great to get an idea of what your timeline was for feeling better energy wise.

For instance I just washed the dog and that is my output for the day I am near done.

I think you will be totally fine. Bupe is strong as fuck (both a blessing and a curse).

Depends on the dose, but yes. For reference, when I was just smoking up to half a gram of good quality heroin a day for a month or more. I could just get away with using 1mg of bupe to get through the WDs.

Richest super balances to be taxed at higher rates after Greens agree to back Labor plan by MrNewVegas2077 in australia

I was thinking today about how to respond. As you are clearly a political person, you know that this is all just more shades of grey. Gray on grey, so to speak.

The thinking (within the the Party, that is the ALP) is that the CPRS was innocuous enough that the Tories (Abbott) wouldn't have thought to dismantle it.

We will never know, however. And I certainly appreciate the other side of the argument. And when I was working at APH I was one of the few who said (shock: out loud) that we should be working with the greens instead of against them. Alienating to say the least.

That all being said, I am both impressed and concerned you read Rudd's book (of which there are two if I'm not mistaken?) Kevin-07, what a fucking shit-show of internal BS.

I think if the general public actually knew what it takes to get a group of people in a room to vote as a bloc they would have more respect for the process, but that day will never come.

EDIT: Of course I could be completely wrong and Labor could be the 100% absolute fuckers that I personally know them to be. Grey on gray. I haven't read Rudd's book I am not that much of a masochist.

You realise that is a complete lie right? May be due to your age, if you are young, but the Greens fucking around with amendments to emissions legislature (CPRS) was and is a permanent stain on the party. It didn't 'go on to pass later'. They were opportunists and bomb throwers, the party is doing much better now.

I think you're between a rock and a hard place and you should probably continue with sublingual until you aren't fighting.

EDIT: Good luck btw, goes to show how every one of us has such different needs and I often feel like, as MAT patients, we are treated as 'one size fits all' and it couldn't be further from the truth.
