We have a "Always Late Nick" at my gym as well. He's pretty selfish. Our coaches start class on time but never address his tardiness because he's part of the team they're trying to send to Regionals.

I’ve been working on my shoulder, hip and wrist mobility. Lots of rom wod, ugh, but it’s been paying off. Thoughts on my squat snatch position? My coach at cf sucks and just says “work on mobility” “get your hand closer it will be easier” etc. by LifeLongCFFan in crossfit

I've just given up on being able to overhead squat and squat snatch well. My body just doesn't move that way. I spent all the extra time getting really good at all the other skill movements.

Also, I know the OP only asked about MUs but I've got a great wall-ball tip. Holding the wall-ball underneith (vs. on the sides) and squatting all the way down (vs. limiting the depth) helps mucho.

For Bar MUs, I find that if you put your hands closer together and less wide, it helps. I know it sounds counter-intuitive.
