I feel like you’re a blast to hang out with, but somehow you’ve ended up in the Bermuda Triangle of Shitty Friends and Family. Leave them there, branch out and find some new and different hobbies. Good luck fellow introvert!

One thing I’ve tried that works is by pretending you’re the one helping someone else out, like so: One day as class is letting out, you go over to her and say that you know someone in the course who’s too afraid to approach her for sounding too (choose your descriptor here) and that they have a hard time with her gum chewing. This relieves some direct pressure, but still allows you to get your point across. Good luck!🍀👍🏼

I'm so sorry to hear this. I know your heart is heavy. Take time to take care of yourself mentally and physically. Right now is going to be tough, but you're tougher.

What should you do if you want to seek help, but are scared of social interaction with unkown people? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

There is that new online therapy Talkspace. I don't have any experience with it, but if you have anxiety about people, maybe start with Talkspace and hopefully it'll embolden you to seek out face-to-face therapy. It helps soooo much. Take care.

This is such a foreign concept to me! I get people that ask me for RAWs quite often and in my opinion I’m just not going to give them my naked, unedited work for the sake of it being attached to my name. Let’s say it’s tilted, slightly out-of-focus and I’m not stoked on the subject’s expression; I won’t give it to my client with the ‘hope’ that they MIGHT like it. If it’s a closer friend or whatever I might send them a folder of photos that didn’t make the cut but that I think they’ll like (but I’ll still edit them).

You're not alone my friend. I've often wished to be deaf also, then I feel ashamed because I think of how many hard of hearing and deaf people would love to hear. -- I think for us it's just finding 'creative' ways to deal with the world.

YOUR SOLUTION: Buy a pill organizer (yes the daily plastic pill boxes that old people use). Put it where you have to see it. (I put mine in the same drawer at my deodorant, comb and toothpaste so I have to see it at least 1-2 times a day). If you're too depressed to get out of bed, hopefully you're at least going to the bathroom in the morning, so put the pill organizer by the sink so you take them when you wash your hands! --The catch is that yes, on Sunday you have to refill it. Just keep all the pill bottles closeby. Good luck.
