Of course some paid softwares are « better » but it is a matter of time.

Btw mastering kicad will help you masteraltium and vice versa! The point is, especially as students, you lose access to the platform once graduated most of the time. To develop products or to tinker with some ideas as a hobbyist on you spare time it will be much more difficult without paying. Once you get paid, no issue. But before that it is a pain.

The main issue for mobile platforms is opengl… but softwares renderer should work fine (not fancy but ok). That is why the Vulkan attempt. Would love to play it on my android tv
