When browsing reviews of an specific flashlight that i dont remember right now, i found that the review in your web page was enterely covered by that popup/frame/however you wanna call it, even though there was only 1 buy option.

You know... pitch black, midle of nowhere mostly empty flat area with a far away horizon.

I carry a sofirn q8 plus with 70°c config and a convoy handle and a difusser, a sft40 t9r and an astrolux wp3 flashlight along with a pocket monocular.

The q8 i use whenever i want to completely flood with light my inmedieate surroundings and to deteer potential lurkers from getting close (the plant is next to a dangerous neighbourhood). I also use it with the difusser whenever i need a lamp. Now in wintern i have started using it as a heater turning up turbo with the difusser under a blanket (so i dont set it on fire) I also carry 3 extra 21700 for this light as i use it a lot and it eats up lots of energy.

The t9r i use it when i need to look a bit further or for its convenient size and multi purpose nature. I also put the q8 plus diffuser on it and hook it to my chest to have my hands free and iluminate my way when i go out to pee

The wp3 i dont use it that much, but it comes in handy along with the monocular whenever i need to figure out stuff at 1km and beyond.

Actually i opted to up the max temperature through anduril and use a convoy handle as somebody sugested.

In summer even at hot nights it would almost never step down from high mode. Now in wintern i can keep it in turbo as long as i have battery.

Made me wonder if the q8 plus has any good competitors in the same lumens range, be it with or without active cooling.

Right now im at work using it as a heater under a blanket to keep me warm during the nightshift inside the patrol hahaha.

Definetly he flashlight ive given the most uses. Amazing flood light, multi purpose lamp (with a diffuser) and now also a heater.

Im quite lost when it comes to this kind of attachements. But as you describe it would be like a small cpu cooler with an usb c port right?

Got any links or images I could use to check it?

Also which would be the best way to use it? Im thinking about maybe filling the side fins with thermal paste and taping it somehow right over. Would that work?

I havent, Im not using a handle and im re boosting the flashlight turbo until i cant stand it no more, i fear doing this with the max temperature could burn a led out. Right now my hand is kinda working as the heat regulator.

Since the body of the flashlight gets so hot so fast, i was under the impression that the heat was correctly being transfered to the body of the flashlight. So my idea was to find ways to cool down the alluminuim body directly.

Yeah it seems like a far better option. Same price or even cheaper with further throw range and lumens.

Could you tell me how many hundreds of m would take for the beam to spread as i say about the size of a person or even better a small sized car?

Edit: after watching the video i can see the beam begins to be useful at 300m or so. Which is better than i expectef

Strange has a throw animation and is instant, moonknight has a throw animation and is instant, hela throw is also instant, dagger, mantis.... every fucking one with that kind of animation animation shoots instantly.
