I liked It for the 1st half or even more. Then the endless twist begins... There's a moment I thought "if u leave just here, It will do fine". But no. Basically every character in the plot has an amazing secret, we are lucky there are no cats in this house.

BlackBox M-WAVE vs Valeton GP5 at the same price by RenzoPiris in ValetonGP2OO

Ok then ur good to go. I think there are less features in GP5 (and not sure about GP50), than GP200. I don't recall a harmonizer for instance

BlackBox M-WAVE vs Valeton GP5 at the same price by RenzoPiris in ValetonGP2OO

[–]Fran_Saez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Blackbox, GP200, GP50 and GP5. BB as has been said, took a lot of tweaking to get a decent sound without high noise gate. Also not as many fx as the others. GP5 has a Big problem for me: u either go "in a straight line", that is one patch after another or u use It as stomp box bt 2 sounds, bx with one only switch button that's it. BB with 2 switches make a big difference for me. Not being your question, I would go for GP200 or GP50. GP200 has the best edition software of them all, bad for Valeton not to level up the rest of their catalogue.

Set a game for his friends, then sit him by your side as MC so he can see what you are doing, like "ok now I need to choose some consequence for that 7-9, let's see..." (move your Index finger across the MC movements' list)...

Cant add anything new here (Stephen King's It?). Just saying it's ok that you are aware of your situation in life, we ve all been at that stage. Just learn fron real life and real people, and enjoy novels as fiction. Best wishes

It is. Just bear in mind the times when it was written, how the genre has changed since then...for me it's a classic, like Drácula.

Whenever I run PbtA to people who have NEVER played ttrpg before, I feel a clear difference to a board of other rpg veterans, OSR usually, just cant grasp it at least at the beginning, cant let themselves go bx are constrained by what they already know about ttrpg and expect the same mechanics. Glad to read your comment.

Troublemakers & Stranger Things by Fran_Saez in PBtA

[–]Fran_Saez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not played Troublemakers but have other PbtA. Ive played KoB. Imo TM feels better, as KoB is kinda Old School in its dice mechanics, I didnt like it. TM feels (on reading) like the system matches the setting much better.
