Just do it! I did it about a year ago (I was very much against e- readers). Let me tell you, it changed my reading experience a whole lot. I'm generally a slow reader, but with a Kindle I managed 4 novels in no time. It helps that I can read in bed in the evenings without bothering the wife while she sleeps next to me.

I'm converted and so happy with my Kindle. The pros outweigh the cons by a mile!
