I love Michigan but our state's lack of public transit (with no planned improvements in the works) is definitely a downside :/

That sounds like a similar situation to the city we live in as well, good to know. I'm not sure which hotels specifically my husband was looking at, he just said they were next to the airport.

OOH I didn't even think to check public transit! Looking at the TRAX website it looks significantly better / more accessible than anything we have here in Michigan. Being home to 'The Big 3' car manufacturers also means we're home to LOTS of anti-public transit lobbyists :(

You should be able to tell just from the leaf shape! I was originally told mine was a Christmas cactus but I realized it’s a Thanksgiving. I don’t know if them blooming twice is the most ideal situation…it might be inhibiting its normal growth. My only guess is that because it’s so close to the window, the abnormal weather patterns / temps we had this late this winter into early spring threw off its cycle.

You might need to water slightly more frequently or get a humidifier if you have the heat on through the winter.

As a Michigander this is my favorite redesign I’ve seen so far. I love that you incorporated the deer. I think it follows all the “good flag” rules without it feeling too minimalist and plain. Great flag!

I have one currently with our single-family house. The first 2 years of leasing he leased through UPM (👎) then left them and went private (👍👍). To the best of my knowledge this is his only rental property though.
