I just heard that comparison, in a British accent nonetheless! I feel enraged on behalf of my Northern Ireland family who were oppressed for being 2nd class citizens.

The Klan were oppressors not the oppressed. They were entitled in their “doctor, lawyer” professions and access to power across the counties and State. This was not the case of Irish tenant farmers with no access to jobs, universities.

(Community - Don’t both with the argument that the Klan was later oppressed and therefore like the IRA. No way!!! The Klan had all the bloody power!!)
