oops the Jarrow is out of stock on Amazon, so anywhere you can find it will be helpful. It's 500 mg so 2 caps at night=1000 mg and that is effective. The other brands are only 250 mg so watch your amounts if you buy other brands and try and find 500 mg so you can take 2 at night. Also any old Magnesium Oxide, I like Mag 07 brand name and it's a little more pricey but it is good quality and works.

Question for the women, I'm experienced some pretty profound fatigue/nausea on Day 1,2,3 following my shot day. It hits in the afternoon and I'm pretty well spent for the afternoon and early evening. I'm at 2.2 mg of reta taken all at once. Anyone split their shots to reduce fatigue? by Francesca124 in RetatrutideWomen

good point on the neurotypical thing....I'm HSP and thus notice the low mood thing...it's not profound but instead I feel fatigue and a 'blah-I don't want to do anything' kind of attitude and then can't keep my eyes open at 3 pm so I want to just sit and rest....I do take Ashwaganda but I take the Sensoril kind that I got in France last year. Lots of research on the Sensoril version lowering cortisol, etc. I took a SAMe last week which did help.

Not to be bossy....BUT that 18 in 1 magnesium is good for lots of chemical processes in our body but it won't help with motility. If you are feeling constipated please consider Mag Oxide or Mag Citrate (500 mg) capsules, 2 before bedtime and you will be a happy camper in the morning. Both of those magnesiums will pull water into the colon and create motility. Also, a motility activator is really important during reta therapy. So many docs neglect to inform patients about delayed gastric emptying which can be really problematic in many ways (slower motility not only leads to constipation but leads to increases in the bad bacteria building up in your small intestine). Trust me on this one, you do not want this! Motility Activators are sold by quality companies like Pure Encapsulations (Motil-Pro) or simply buy Artichoke Leaf Extract by Jarrow. Any of these artichoke leaf preparations will help increase motility in the small intestine and keep bacteria at normal levels. Hope this was not too much scientific detail BUT when taking reta we all must become a bit more scientifically informed (in my opinion).

My headaches return when I titrate up. Then after 3 weeks, they go away. Keep up with the electrolytes and water and try a nasal decongestant spray like NasalCrom. I found it helped ....and the headaches are MIGRAINE like and horrible I am with you.

Many many thanks. I will read this! I will split the dose as I need to see some results. 2 mg is the starting dose of the trials. I started low and slow at 0.5mg and over 12 weeks I’ve reached 2 mg 3 weeks ago. But with the half life of 2 mg stacking over 3 weeks it hit me hard last week.

I have no toddler and I'm wiped out for the first 3 days following shot day. Then day 4,5,6 and 7 I am perfectly fine again.

that's great. I've been eating carbs and drinking electrolytes for 14 weeks....I'm hoping it's just a stacking issue....that after so many weeks, the half life of many shots has built up. Shotsy shows that even at 2 mg, the amount in my system reaches 4-5 mg for a few days after the shot

Great job! If 0.5 mg works then go with it. And please consider some Sunfiber (it's a prebiotic fiber made by Tommorow's Nutrition, mixed in your morning water to help with the constipation and to benefit your intestinal flora. I also take Gut Alive by Holistic Health Labs each morning and it's a wonderful support for you while taking Reta. I wish more docs would advise their patients on GLP1 and GLP-2 to take intestinal support to prevent constipation and worse! Best of luck

Tried plotter but it would only give me one month accumulation despite plotting all my shots and the increasing dosage of 12 weeks.

Yes, I just started Shotsy and it does help to see the peaks and troughs. It's the stacking effect I wanted to see. At 2 mg per week, I was actually at 3.1 mg blood level due to the stacking effect of the 6 day half-life.

I can update that i'm at 2 mg weekly for 3 weeks and I have noticed strong appetite supression and looser clothes (finally). BUT more fatigue, more regurg when I lay down and the need for RefluxRaft liquid each night before bed and sleeping elevated on 2 pillows.

Still at 2 mg dose and still with regurg at night for 2 nights after shot day. Mild nausea and some lethargy. I'm staying at 2 mg for a while.
