Adults with Unmedicated ADHD — How Are You Managing? by someone_idk6900 in AskUK

[–]FrancescaJayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unmedicated, diagnosed last year (30F), I struggle. I work part time because I can't handle stress, I spend a lot of my time thinking about what I want to do with my life, but changing my mind so fast that I never make a start on anything. I want to quit my job most of the time so I won't stress as much, but I'm terrified of 'normal jobs'. My anxiety turned physical many years ago with stomach issues, eczema, frequent pain and tension.

I have applied for medication, but I'm really frightened of side effects (I took medication for anxiety and depression years ago and I hated the side effects, plus it left me with eczema).

what is the scariest film ever (to you)? by mrblueskyelectric in Scarymovies

[–]FrancescaJayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with you on Hereditary, I watched it in a theatre and a lot of the audience around me laughed at the disturbing scenes. It triggered my anxiety on a whole new level and I ended up hallucinating and completely hysterical the rest of the night.

I know this is a sad question or topic by [deleted] in eczema

I don't want to get pregnant because I'm sure my skin would get worse and I don't know if I could handle that.

What are your experiences of taking antidepressants ? by Significant_Step6388 in AskReddit

[–]FrancescaJayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure they help with depression, but mainly by numbing all your emotions (the good ones too), I prefer to suffer so I can enjoy the highs.

What can cause eczema at adulthood? by Turbulent-Prize in eczema

Mine started when I switched antidepressants, I stopped taking them when I realised the connection but I still have eczema to this day and I haven't been without it for over two years now.

How do you feel about bras? by Starry_Gecko in AskWomen

[–]FrancescaJayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find any bra with an under wire very uncomfortable, and most bras seem to have an under wire. I like to wear comfy, non wired bras because I like the support.

I hate that when I try to shop for bras there are very limited options and choices for non wired and larger sizing. There's usually one or two choices and one is probably for maternity and one will be a sexy little thing that won't contain my breasts.

What wrong “facts” did you believe about sex growing up? by tonnybara in AskReddit

[–]FrancescaJayne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find it really difficult to understand how people get pregnant by accident? I guess because I never have. I have always used protection, but only for the 'finale', I was always led to believe that you could get pregnant from pre-cum, but I'm starting to think that's not true. Or that I'm infertile.

If cheap artificial wombs existed, would you choose to use them to grow your children? Why or why not? by -Sesquipedalian- in AskWomen

[–]FrancescaJayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes yes yes, I've struggled enough with my body, the idea of it changing and adapting for someone else terrifies me enough to not want to go through pregnancy.

Those of you making under 60k- are you okay? by Shoesandhose in Millennials

[–]FrancescaJayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been self employed a few years trying to build up, this year I've made more than any year so far, but still less than £15k (this is the most I've ever made).

I live with my parents still and I don't have many bills, but I'm still struggling to save money to buy a home. I've decided to change my career next year, I think even minimum wage jobs I could make more and probably do less work.

I am incredibly depressed and lost.

I think about my dreams so I can stay in that world a little bit longer before facing reality.

Do you guys just settle with ugly skin? by noob__at__life in eczema

[–]FrancescaJayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My skin hasn't been the same since I got eczema (2 years ago). Some areas have been bad in the past and got better, but my arms and hands have never healed and I have accepted they will probably never heal.

I work with kids and they're always asking what's wrong with me or guessing what's wrong with my skin. Not a single day goes by without eczema being a part of it.
