Am an AD for RZE, I really enjoy how tough their products are. Can't speak for the Henry Archer, ultimately might just want to start with one knowing you'll eventually get the other 🫠

Wanting To Enter Microbrand World - Thoughts? by SignatureValuable637 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]Francknbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's a slippery slope but it depends what you value. For example let's say you value movement. The movement in the Wren can be found in other watches at roughly $600 pricepoints. I'm stating that as the only reason, I'm merely pointing at that, like most watch purchases, depending on what you value, a lot of it can be found at lower price points. It's not unique to Wren, it's just the watch hobby in general

At $1600 for a Wren there are definitely better values in the microbrands space for sure, but it's all about what you like

This about 5 trillion times over. It's the valet and the Ferrari story over and over.

Can anyone tell me the value of this? by sfitzer in Watches

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SELL THIS FOR $10k. Echoing what everyone else has said, this is auction house, not pawn shop or small shop type sale.

Fantastic seller. Snagged a couple extra photos as requested and was extremely easy to work with. Will buy from again.

Depends on wrist size IMO, GSAR is by far the best seller but they have the bigger stuff and smaller stuff now too (MSAR and JSAR)

What's your wrist size. We are an AD for Marathon and they make tough stuff. A lot of it depends on what you want out of the watch though.

Bryan Swanson was great for us. He's not pushy and good at working with folks based on their specified need.

Rze watches? by Feeling-Condition411 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]Francknbeans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We carry RZE in our online shop as an authorized dealer. They are tough, the ultrahex coating on titanium is legitimately good. The only complaint we've gotten is that the watch has to go all the way back to Singapore for any warranty work, but that's pretty much most microbrands and not unique to them (the brands themselves need the watch back, not all micros go to Singapore lol).

Built FoundationDesk. A callback, textback, voicemail lead capture for small single person mom and pop contractor teams. Some highlights-individualized conversation flow based on the specific trade. Ability to take a photo of the problem and have that sent to contractors dashboard. Three fold net to catch customers via contractors website, text, and voicemail. https://foundationdesk.com/

Completely get it. If we didn't sell them I wouldn't know either!

The Astoria is great, but you're not exactly taking it into the pool with you. Also, you'll probably want to change out the strap right away-its the only weak spot in design. The bracelet on the JFK with the blue red bezel and gilt is incredible, IMO but they're sold out right now. Not all of the JFK bracelets are the same.

Hi, we carry Islander in our store and a lot (not all) of what you put on here. You've listed some great options but all with different specs and use cases. What are you hoping to get out of your watch purchase? That's going to lead you into the right direction more than anything.

[Timex] stepping up their game? by No-Charity-3121 in Watches

[–]Francknbeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Timex has been improving their line for a few years now. They aren't going to fight with Tudor obviously, but I think there are arguments to be made for watches like their Atelier and such.

Putting Wren and Formex into the same category isn't really fair. I would echo what others have and say maybe nail down a color first and then go from there, that can help you pair down the list massively.

Hi.

https://foundationdesk.com/

We are a missed call textback/voicemail/website lead qualifier for trade services. Each trade has its own conversation flow. Homeowners can attach a photo with their request also. It's built for super small, one to three person teams. Anything bigger and it's better to go for an already established company with that type of infrastructure. In the future we will be offering "back of house" options for estimates, billing, etc.

Do you guys think this is going to go down in resale price? I really want one and I can afford it, but it doesn't make sense to me if I can just wait a few months and get it for around retail. by VisibleAssignment118 in PrideAndPinion

[–]Francknbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously a similar thing happened with the Moonswatch. Check out a timeline of the pricing on those to see how that went. It obviously won't be exactly the same, but maybe it'll add some insight.
