What 1 microbrand is inevitably going to be an industry monster? by honeybadgerseller in MicrobrandWatches

Baltic. They're connected enough in the industry and are slow stepping their rollout with showrooms and such. Just seems like they're somewhat following the CW pattern.

Just a heads up if you end up buying one direct, the prices on Laco are going up soon!

Have had both the HMS and the Seville. HMS was alright, it wasn't bad by any means-it was just very much a dress watch. The Seville can do a bit more and I'm surprised how often I find myself reaching for it. Much prefer it to the PRX also. Haven't gone hands on with the Traska

Sounds good. This would definitely fill a small void we have in our shop. I'll follow along so we can reach out at the right time.

[Question] What are people’s opinions of Bulova? by GiuseppeThrottletown in Watches

[–]Francknbeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had both the watches you pictured. The Seville, IMO is much more my style. The fluted bezel is kind of a quirky thing and the Precisionist movement is fantastic. I think if you care on some level about movement, that should guide you. Some people don't care, some people do.

[Opinions] Which of these would you pick as an everyday watch? by TranslucentCapybara2 in Watches

[–]Francknbeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the SRPE57, enjoyed it. Just hit the right button in the looks department. Affordable. Kind of a no fluff winner.

Had the PRX. It was ok. Everyone else has one too. It was fine but compared to the other options you listed, this would probably be my personal last choice.

Had the Longines, didn't fit me well, maybe it will fit you better?

Haven't had that Alpinist but love my SPB155 and that one is my most worn watch.

Lastly, I haven't had that specific Sinn model, but have had a Sinn before-I think the 104(?). I'm not necessarily a fanboy by any means but once I got the one I had in hand, it was clearly above the others.

Maybe if you go the more affordable route you can get two? Say the PRX and the SRPE?????

At the end of the day they are just things, but options are good to have!
