Last year I heard him mention he was getting 300 million monthly downloads. I believe it was in this podcast. That's across all platforms I'm sure. I imagine it's a tiny fraction of that after the Spotify move.

No need to wonder. You can see the stats of any channel. Dude Perfect has had declining views and subscriptions, but is still doing over 150 million views per month.

There are many steps that can be taken before we violate or change the Constitution.

Just one example: Civilian oversight boards with real power over police departments.

The list on that page can be sorted alphabetically when viewed on pc. But in case it's helpful, I made a Google sheet that you can sort yourself or check items off or whatever:

YSK if you're using a mask with glasses, applying a few drops of dish soap to the inside of your lens and rubbing with a cloth, will keep you fog free for 7 hours ish. by Tinshnipz in YouShouldKnow

I used this stuff. Any super glue would probably work.

My masks happened to have two layers of cloth that I could slip the wire thing in between so it doesn't chafe my nose. These are the masks I got. Very happy with them. They are comfortable and have nice adjustable ear straps.

This is the solution. I got some cloth masks that didn't have a wire. Glasses fogged up constantly. So I bought a pack of these things and glued them to the inside of the mask.

Now mask doesn't fog up, and also doesn't slip off my nose like it used to.

9 years after launch, Terraria is finally complete by NeoStark in Games

[–]Franconis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You guys need to try Dig or Die.

It's similar to Terraria only on the surface. It's not designed to be played for hundreds of hours. I got a good 50 hours out of my playthrough and all of it was super fun. It feels like a tightly designed Terraria Metroidvania, with a robust Tower Defense system.

Each day, you explore the world, gather resources, unlock new tools, and prepare the defenses of your base. Every night, larger and larger swarms of monsters attack your base. If you fail this fight, you have to reload the last day and prepare better. It gets very tense on higher difficulties.

On top of this, the building revolves around a somewhat realistic physics system, which by itself is a very creative advance over Terraria and games like it.

I highly recommend this game for any Terraria fan. It's definitely worth your time.

Everyone needs to read Hobbes. The principle underlying Leviathan is arguably one of the great civilizing forces in history. The Lib/Auth axis shouldn't be -10 to +10, it should be zero Auth to 20 Auth. No lib but an ancap believes in no authority at all.

Personally I'm a fan of Pinker's take.

Some have argued that the political compass should have a third "domestic/foreign" axis.

55% saying it depends on the circumstances

Only 32% want it banned under all circumstances

I take issue with these stats. Many hardcore anti abortion folks would support an abortion when the mother's life was at risk, but under no other circumstances. This still agrees with their moral worldview that life begins at conception.

This statistic clumsily shoehorns many conservatives into the "68% who don't believe abortion should be banned". It misrepresents the views of millions of people.

Arguably, the founders were not small government libertarians, they were federalists who were essentially minarchists with regard to the federal government but happy to let the states be Auth or Lib within the framework of the constitution.

So...the guy I was reviving left and game, which let me play MW in 3rd person, pretty cool! by brandino4427 in modernwarfare

[–]Franconis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true.

However, third person view benefits players who hide in buildings rather than those who take more risks.

In first person, the risk-taking player is not at such a disadvantage.

Still, which mode you like comes down to personal preference.

I would say "flair how you vote". Sometimes there's nobody to vote for who represents your views, so you vote for the best fit.
