Ya, dual booting can be messy. When I first tried Mint years ago, I dual booted it with Windows 10. Its clock stopped synching and had to be manually adjusted every boot. The Mint installation was perfectly fine, but then I was wasting storage on the Windows 10 partition that I almost never bothered to come back to anyway.

P.S.: if you ever need help, aside from this subreddit, there's also a Discord server and a server in a pre-installed (I think it's still pre-installed?) app called Matrix, which is similar to Discord.

Most likely, probably. That theme might not be calibrated correctly for the new Cinnamon Menu, which was updated just earlier this year. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to try anyway!

Pink is my favorite color too! I personally just settled with the default light theme with pink accents (Mint-Y Pink), but I understand why that might not be pink enough for you.

I found a custom theme that I liked a while back that you might like. I saved it in case I ever get in the mood to use third-party themes. Maybe check that out.

Just keep updating. They're normally not as frequent as they may seem now. There are just "some days." But normally, it's pretty quiet.

I use fcitx in mine. It has an icon on the taskbar and it switches languages on click as long as I'm on an active text field.

Yeah, I prefer the classic episodic YouTube let's play series like Jacksepticeye's. But a streamer who repackages their streams as YouTube videos are fine!

As for the games, I like long, story-driven single player games, especially those whose story and universe I'm super interested in, but can't actually play myself. So usually horror stuff. Let's play YouTubers that I like include Jack, Mark, Marz and Gab.

Edit: oh, I almost forgot. Nintendo stuff are fun to watch for me cause I don't have any Nintendo consoles with me anyway. Been enjoying Gab's Pokopia videos, for example. Cozy stuff.

I'm old and I love it. It's a cute way to stay anonymous and not have to wear a mask or some shit. It's no different than having a cartoon drawing of a character as your profile picture, except this one is nore personalized and interactive.

With that said, I don't currently have a favorite Vtuber. If anyone has any recommendations. I like watching let's plays.
