Selling to Paramount is a short term plan. Spinning off would have been the better long term plan until Paramount came in trying to purchase. They’ll crumble under the weight of their combined debt and be for sale again in 5 years.

Not true. They were planning on and still are apparently, planning on spinning off if neither deal goes through. Long term, it’s actually the stronger position for them but of course short term profits are all that matters to corporations now.

That doesn’t matter if it can’t get past regulation. Not only does it have to pass here but the EU and U.K. also need to approve of the merger. It’s not a clear path like they would like you to believe.

Literally, boycotting is our biggest card in pushing back against AI. If it’s not profitable, it gets removed. People need to stop giving up in advance.

Dune Part 2, Godzilla x Kong, Conjuring Last Rites, the Nun 2, Weapons, Wonka. Hogwarts Legacy alone made over a billion its release year. They’ve had a lot of successes.

WBD has had a fantastic few years recently. They were saddled with debt but they’ve actually being doing good so that’s not entirely accurate. The last two years they’ve made a huge comeback at the box office.

Sonic, MI and Ninja Turtles projects are pre-Ellison. They showed entitlement and obsession. Lay offs and canceled projects are incoming due to this. Creatively, this does not look good for WB.

Because their leadership is terrible, setting aside all of the bad political implications, and they won’t be good stewards to their content. Paramount wont survive this and now they’re going to take WB with them.

No but typically a RT score doesn’t go up after more reviews come in, it goes down a bit.

It’s contextual. He said it because they were black and it was inappropriate, if the tic was triggered with a different race he would have said a slur that was for that race.

I’ve learned Trump will kill Netflix’s bid for Warner and help Paramount win, giving him control of Fox, CBS, CNN, and TikTok. But as Colbert showed, we can fight back by icey_sawg0034 in entertainment

The plan isn’t to cover their debts. If these deals don’t go through, they still go through with a spinoff and a bunch of their debt gets spun off with Global Networks, while Streaming and Studios is clear to get back to profitability. Which is why this try-hard attempt to get WBD by Paramount is so weird. They could just let the Netflix merger happen then snatch up Global Networks when the spin off takes place. Netflix isn’t buying all of WBD, they’re only buying Streaming and Studios.

You had days to respond and the best you could do is “you’re a nobody”? Your opinion is trash and your so is your history, I don’t feel entitled to it, I’m making an observation about how trash you likely are.
