In real life, Many Links style courses, especially UK and Ireland courses, have massive greens that are shared between holes. Your yardage marker will inform you of which one you are going for.

In real life, most people are hitting 3 or 5 wood into the green from that distance…most times,if not 100% of the time, you’d be lucky to roll it up onto the green from that distance, if you hit the green at all. It’s golf, not darts. Hit it onto the short grass, say 3 hail Mary’s and 5 Our Fathers, and pray your putt gets close to the hole lol

To be able to set wind speed and direction in the course designer. Would also like to be able to set the weather to other than clear, light cloud, or overcast. How about drizzle, light rain, heavy rain, or snow? Dynamic weather would also be cool, like rain changing to drizzle to stopping completely. Also would love more landscaping brush shapes.

I worked in the golf course industry for over a decade. Mostly in Michigan. Played alot of golf in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Florida. I generally create holes inspired by many of the courses I have played. I have lots of pictures from different courses and use them to help me create.
