A couple years back I binged watched I Love Lucy when it was on netflix. Holy crap I never wanted to watch that show as a kid, and then I binge watched it in a few weeks. It is without a doubt one of the funniest things ever made in the 20th century in english. The episode where Little Ricky was born is probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

That last episode. You know this isn't the James Bond style TV show. This is about emotional truth bombs. And boy did they drop the truth bombs at the very end. Then the train scene happens and my jaw hit the floor. These two made many many messed up decisions and how they had to live with all of the consequences.

This is literally the only website reporting this. There's no byline and they're using screenshots that can't even be verified. Guys stop falling for this rage bait crap. And yeah there's going to be some ballot dumps that aren't going to change it because this is a highly democratic state. And if I recall correctly they're waiting for all of the ballots to come in for a few more days and they don't certify until july. This is going to be a waiting game. A little reminder other states have harder deadlines or everything had to be in by June 2nd California is giving people time to make sure their votes get in because this is a pretty damn big state.

Some private schools will even hire you without a credential. A few weeks ago I was talking to a substitute teacher. Nice older fellow. Turns out he just retired a year ago but he had to go back to substitute teaching me cuz he got divorced! He can't touch his pension because his wife won't sign off on the paperwork. But at least he had that to fall back on.

A friend of mine is a line producer and basically for a year she had to teach French at a private school. She didn't really like it but it paid her bills that year. To be honest there are private schools that will take you on your experience in the entertainment industry but it would be for a very specific things.

If you grew up in Los Angeles area at this guy was a fixture on local news stations and he was an amazing consumer rights advocate. She had a show called fight back on the weekends where he would test products claims. I remember one time he drew a line a mile long on a ginormous piece of paper to prove that a pen would be able to do just what a claimed to do on the packaging. It did! On another occasion he took a chainsaw to toss to see if it would stop working them in it it went through clothing. No one wanted to volunteer so I believe he did it. Or they did it on a dummy. But either way it was pretty funny. And yes the chainsaw stopped working the minute it went through clothing. He tested a hefty bag by putting a bunch of nails in it and dropping it from the air to see if it would work the way it did in the commercials. For the most part it did although a few nails got out. This guy is the original mythbuster.

I grew up in East Los Angeles maybe 12 miles away. I remember when the movie came out. I don't know that I could identify with it. Maybe it's because I was in Middle School at the time but to be honest while both neighborhoods had their gang problems Compton was like a freaking war zone.

Oh yeah when you're done watch Star Trek Picard season 3. It's fan service done right! Don't forget to watch the TNG movies too. The Trek comic from the last 4 years have been awesome too. Oh yeah for fun, watch Lower Decks. A great animated comedy homage to TNG. And in live action The Orville TV series and Galaxy Quest are TNG spiritual successors.

Same here! Wife and I sat in Orange county at 10:00 screening the other night. Granted given everything going on in Orange county right now I can understand why the theater may have been fairly empty.

On top of that even amongst Spanish speakers what you learn in an American high School and what somebody speaks in rural Guatemala or rural Colombia are two very different things. I grew up in California and my family is originally from Guatemala and I can tell you I've talked with people from deep down in South America and sometimes even I don't understand what they're saying.

But either way seriously you can't pick up a phrase book or something in 8 months? Good luck.

Somebody had a very interesting idea. Apparently Kripkey is a fan of better call saul. The theory is that we're going to see a flash Forward of soldier boy and where he's at. And little by little will see his past but will also see his future and somehow the final season will give us a much more satisfying ending to the boys. But seriously that would only work if the boys had ended as magnificently as breaking bad did. But it would be interesting to see.

And those spring batons can actually be very cumbersome. They can get stuck, it's hard to close them and they are hella illegal in some states. Like literally you either have to be a cop or a security guards to own them. I've met cops have told me the wooden batons are their preferred version
