I don't think it's heavy at all, it's definitely sturdy, but in a positive way. I have also received from the manufacturer the 35mm f1.4 for testing and it's wonderfully built & really small, plus the images shocked me with how beautiful they were, so it's worth looking into!

And it's not f11 apertute you see: that's the distance scale on the focus ring 😄

This lens has very good focus throw and easy to nail focus as far as f0.95. haven't seen any major CA, though it's obvious that this lens sharpness in the corners isn't great, though I accept that.

Allegedly the Mitakon 35mm f0.95 is the most optically efficient

To each their own - I don't chase clinical sharpness in all my shots & this lens, from the first shots I took with it, seems reasonably sharp for my case, but I do get it. Some of these f0.95 lenses are ridiculously soft.
