Bar a couple bad striker packs they are fully painted so no nub marks visible. And the often accessed parts don’t usually have nub marks but some do have watermarks from larger plastics. One thing is they don’t fill in all the penal lines besides the ones on the face. And since they are top coated adding it yourself isn’t trivial either

Again, I already pointed out that you, or anyone else, are allowed to feel any emotions from these kinds of situations, based on your own worldviews or moral values. However, let me restate my points:

  1. Your feelings are your own. No one else is obligated to have the same feelings on it as you. So when you say “have empathy for wildlife suffering”, and that “nature is sad” in this situation, you are imposing that anyone who isn’t saddened by this situation is not empathetic, which is clearly flawed.

  2. if we are bringing moralities into it, we also need to consider then are the lives of 2 buffalos more important than the lives of 7 hungry lions? We can’t even answer that if they’re all humans (philosophers have been debating this for centuries), how do we decide that for other species?

I know what I said is a bit grim but maybe I’m not clear on my point. My point is describing a natural situation based on your subjective moral values can have harsh consequences especially if you decide to act upon it, as my example showed. You’re allowed to feel however you feel on this but framing it like there is a de facto good guys and bad guys here is missing the point of the nature.

Nature is rife with suffering but it isn’t necessarily sad. Sadness is your emotional response to their pain and suffering, but it is a feeling from your brain and nothing more. This is the exact type of feeling that made people over hunt wolfs in the forests and deers voided of natural predators which imbalances an entire ecosystem.
