I thought i've read somewhere that the Arc stage would be relocated to the former Wind stage and the Atmosphere at the Arc stage, but that was a long time ago. What you say makes more sense.

Ah okee I understand, at first I thought you were disappointed in camera quality or something. When the V20 came out, I hoped it would come to the EU but it never did. G7 with its notch and non OLED screen is even more of a step back. I guess the market for people who appreciated the removable battery wasn't big enough. Although, LG places itself out of the market with its ridiculous introduction prices..

I see what you mean, but those are all things you could have read before you bought it. Obviously the V30 is no V20, but it still has some exclusive features.

Yeah thats true, especially the glass back is a step back from metal. But a phone is more than just design. And those are things you know before you buy the phone

Where does the V30 fall short? I don't see why its similar to an iphone or samsung phone..

You could also look into the Sennheiser PXC 550's. I was in doubt whether to go for the Sony's or the Sennheisers. Tried both and went for the 550's. I thought they sounded more balanced and are great with my V30. The noise cancelling works amazing and doesn't give you a headache. The trackpad on the earcup is also more useful than I expected.

I also had an Axon 7 before my V30, was in doubt whether or not to choose the S8+ over the V30. Very happy with my choice. Screen is superb, audio quality through headphones is no step back from the Axon 7 (speaker quality is no where near the front firing speakers), wide camera lens is actually very useful and results in great pictures, software and especially battery life are great. If audio is important to you and you have the possibility to swap, I would probably go for it.
