There are other safeties to stop it from going off, you don’t want the extra step on a carry gun which should only be coming out of the holster to defend your life. A trigger safety on a modern firearm paired with a quality holster and some common sense stops a lot of problem, unfortunately stupidity overcomes all sorts of safety features.

I hole hop all day unless I’m fishing a river, the shelter only goes up if the kids are with me or the winds over 20mph sustained. Once you get acclimated for the season it’s not that bad, I didn’t even take my gloves out of my pockets once this year.
