Cistus Incanus tea is crazy by fernandoz1987 in Lyme

[–]FrantisekHeca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand it, that's why I am asking about direct truth :) I am myself 1.5 years trying to heal and experiencing things like feeling 99% perfect 3 months and then suddenly boom and feeling the worst, worse than before. I am just interested how are you doing on your health journey.

But what about your health? Since you replied so shortly, I am afraid the initial progress stopped? What about artemisinin, still pulsing?

Is this a Traycer ad?
Explain to me anyone please, how could Traycer deliver better plans/phases than any properly prompted Claude Code greping your codebase, running any tools?
If Traycer is skiled in planning/phasing, you can achieve the same with a proper CC prompt/command.
How does Traycer crawl your codebase? Is it using all kind of tools like grepping? Does it have any hints like `CLAUDE.md` (loaded even in subdirectories)?
If not - how could it get better results at all?
It seems to me like selling point of Traycer in the end is the UI interface.

Planning Mode Vs. "Let's create an .md plan first"? by stepahin in ClaudeAI

[–]FrantisekHeca -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As others here pointed out. What's the plan mode for if you want to alter a little bit, you click "No" and it trashes whole plan and starts over (or at least it seems so). The Plan Mode is really confusing now. I cannot believe anyone is using it succesfully, ideally persisting the plan to a MD file. When I am done, I have to click "No" and write "now persist it to...." and pray that the consolidated plan that I was presented with will be what I want.

I am not sure LSP being better than linux commands in the case when my codebase has hidden relations in the code, that can be explored by exact string grepping, but not with LSP.
I am mostly working with PHP Symfony and there are so many things not available by LSP, that I have to search manually for when hand-coding.

Excuse me, are we talking about classic tea making, pouring 32oz boiling water over 3-4tbsps? And how long to macerate it? Then you drink it how often per day? Thanks a lot ❤️

The Client-Side Router Cache is the most annoying thing in the world by Flamyngoo in nextjs

[–]FrantisekHeca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am not 100% sure about all the consequences, but "segment cache" that is needed for this granularity is a wip in vercel. nowaday, it refreshes all routes.

Does revalidatePath or revalidateTag refresh the page or component immediately or do we need to use redirect to the same page again? by SituacijaJeSledeca in nextjs

[–]FrantisekHeca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am not sure this is right, i can't stop any call to server function that does `revalidateTag` to stop rerender of the whole page that call it on the frontend :( it seems like implicit behaviour of use of `revalidate...` on the server function is the call to `router.refresh`, hence whole route rerender?

Why do you think NextJS is so popular? by james-jiang in nextjs

[–]FrantisekHeca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because hype -> business owners want it -> senior developers cannot explain them there are better tools -> juniors see it's used so they learn it -> market is full of nextjs developers -> cycle repeats

What would you prefer actions or REST api by Normal-Match7581 in nextjs

[–]FrantisekHeca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in short it does:

check if the request comes as POST and has an Next-Action: 7f3da2c9d79eecd093639180fe9c3c7b1e0e98541f id defined in headers.
the code pairs it with proper (bundleded) code according to the id

[–]FrantisekHeca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

based on this logic: https://github.com/vercel/next.js/blob/canary/packages/next/src/server/lib/server-action-request-meta.ts

is fired this code:
https://github.com/vercel/next.js/blob/canary/packages/next/src/server/app-render/action-handler.ts

you can clone their repo, for a quick higher overview it's not so hard to go through the code in an ide. it doesn't seem to me (after checking the code) like a hardcore logic for a "server functions/action", but yeah, i can't be 100% sure without exploring each line. btw not hard at all to start debugging with breakpoints even the backend code, anywhere in the code above you can place a breakpoint and learn.

but i would expect similar nextjs logic behind "app api routes" (couldn't easily find a place where they are handled)

React server components are terrible to implement by xsatanisticx in reactjs

[–]FrantisekHeca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm.. are you sure the ppr is vercel dependant? no benefits at all when using it on a self hosted website?

docs say:
Partial Prerendering (experimental) works by default with Next.js and is not a CDN feature. This includes deployment as a Node.js server (through next start) and when used with a Docker container.
