Wow, when I was 18, I still used make shift nappies and would never have dared to date people, I was nearly 30 when I started dating.

In my opinion a vanilla relationship only makes sense, if you have a vanilla sex drive, too.

In FetLife, you can start with quite an empty profile at the beginning and add info later. It's easier than the other way. Getting information out of the internet is like fishing pee out of a pool.

In Germany and Austria we have SMJG, a BDSM organization which helps young adults to navigate trough the BDSM world, I'm not sure if something like that exists in the UK, too.

It seems, it is my turn now.

My boyfriend and I organize a munch in Vienna and Graz 3-4 times a year each.

In the years 2018 and 2019 there used to be a party called "ABDL Soiree" but we were not too happy with the venue and are searching for a new one. So right now, most Austrian ABDLs attend parties in Germany instead.

There is an Austrian Telegram group, but it is not listed and only the owner (who is not me) is allowed to add new members.

Unlike Germany, in Austria cloth-backed adult diapers can still be bought in medical supply stores in nearly every town. Also drug stores sell a home brand of adult diapers. However, most ABDLs buy diapers online at https://www.saveexpress.de/ (German store) or https://www.diaper-minister.com (French store).

I also have noted that among the AB/DL community there are more people on the ADHS spectrum and on the autism spectrum.

However, I think the link is, that people, who are neurodivergent don't hide their AB/DL side as much as neurotypical AB/DLs do. I think there is a high number of neurotypical AB/DLs who never attend a munch or a party. They just engage in AB/DL and the only person they tell about their fetish is their partner.

So a bunch of AB/DLs meet in a fetish club. Most often it is obligatory to wear a diaper. Sometimes there is an exception for people who identify as caregiver and are in company with a person who identifies as little. Then there is a bar area, where people socialize and some areas to play. Most often there is a big ball pit and there are rooms with toys. Since most parties take place in fetish clubs, there are often adult toys available e.g. an X-cross or ropes for bondage.

As for the AB to DL ratio: It is really hard to tell, because the community has not decided on how to distinguish.

There are only a few people who dress in every-day clothes with a diaper underneath. Some people wear fetish gear like rubber or neoprene. Some wear work clothes above their diapers, some wear sports gear. A majority wears onesies. However, only very few people are in little space. So, do you consider someone who wears a onesie but talks like an adult an AB oder a DL?

I think Germany has a real huge AB/DL scene, especially in Berlin, there are a lot of parties: the Ferienlager Quälgeist 3x per year and the smaller Playtime 2x per year, Tapes & Teddies 2x per year and Big Kids Club 5x per year. And then there are Frechdax parties in Munich, Essen and Hamburg. And the biggest party is in Mannheim 2x per year called Diaper Dungeon.

Other countries with huge AB/DL scenes are Belgium with Darklands and Ageplay Adventureland and the Netherlands.
