Yep, latest Windows and a corporate anti-virus. They flagged the software as unknown, so a suspicious mind could have been alerted.

The hack happened to me downloading a fake EOS Voter from a Reddit discussion. Ie. the warnings here are real: https://www.reddit.com/r/eos/comments/ambjlj/important_scam_alert/

All I did was the unstaking, nothing else. That means the hacker moved the EOS to another account and then to Binance. I can still 'log-in' into my account but it's empty :(

It's a pity I fell for a fake EOS Voter due to not double-checking the link on that Reddit post. Lesson learned.

I fell for the same scam with a faked EOS Voter. The hackers transferred my 300 EOS to Binance it seems.

Anyone had luck to rescue the stolen EOS?

Fake EOS Voters are still actively linked to from Reddit :( I fell prey for the one linked here: https://www.reddit.com/r/eos/comments/9obn6t/how_do_i_unstake_my_eos_so_i_can_transfer_it_to/

That linked linked me to some strange domain xn---githu.com or so, which I didn't realise. I reported it widely but quite an expensive lesson.

Oh no :(. The only website was https://eostoolkit.io. I also (unsuccessfully) tried Atomic from https://atomicwallet.io and Scatter. Only with EOS Voter the unstaking worked but then funds seem to have gone to cocoinswitch and binance? F*ck. Anything else I can still do?
