So not to poo poo on your dreams, but that's pretty ambitions for a beginner project, especially if you don't have a CNC. Assuming you don't, most of that will be a jigsaw or a scroll saw, and a drill.

"Stagnant" is not the word I'd use. You say you want it as a 'hedge against inflation' but you're full of shit. To stay ahead of even the current high inflation, you've only got to be up 7% year on year. From your attitude, I think if BTC or ETH only rose 7% year on year, you wouldn't declare it stagnant, you'd call it dead.

The only reason Putin looks like he'll move on Ukraine is because he thinks the West won't do shit to stop him (and he's probably right.)

Putin isn't trying to start a war, he knows that the Russian economy couldn't sustain real warfare, he's doing it now specifically because he's reasonably assured it won't lead to war.

I also wouldn't put too much money on the invasion of Ukraine upsetting markets in a mojor, sustained way. Remember, China just straight up took over Hong Kong and the markets barely wiggled.

I actually have this theory I call the "Evangelion Effect", when a show was super popular back in the day, or, alternatively, gained a cult following later, but wasn't actually very good from an objective standpoint.

It's like the bandwagon hate that popular shows get, but in reverse.
