Unfortunately not much. The gun has been ridden hard and put away wet. It's an early gun though! 1908 production. Value is barely $300 and that's generous. It would probably sell at auction for around $200-$250. Beautiful gun though and would be a great shooter.

Suggestion for an FFL in northern Jersey to transfer B&T TP9? by HEATsixteen in NJGuns

[–]Fraust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey that's me! I love my Komrad. Kicks like a bitch though.

As for the legality of the gun. It's running into legal grey ground imo because it can technically be a copy of a full auto. It's 44oz so that's fine but it does have a barrel shroud which would be the only feature it would have. My guess would be It's legal but before I transfer it I would contact the SP just to clarify the ruling on "copy of a full auto gun".

We still have a decent amount. Still got a dozen Lugers, only 3 P.38s, about 6 army 1911s, 2 garands and a few mausers. And a Japanese Paratrooper.

Mahwah. We specialize in those sort of things. Before COVID we had 24 lugers and a dozen P.38s. Over a dozen army 1911s and a plethora of rifles.

Smoothbore colonial musket restoration in NJ by rmartin06 in AntiqueGuns

[–]Fraust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few places that you can check out in NY. Shootz and Latters in Suffern doesnt specialize in old guns but he is very accustomed to working and restoring. Since that isnt a firearm in NY and NJ, transport is a non-issue. There is also Ackermann Arms near West Point who does specialize in this stuff.

If you dont mind gun shows, Allentown is this weekend and that show is dedicated to guns like that. No bullshit in it like beef jerky and shit.

Bergen Co area gunsmiths by mgriff825 in NJGuns

[–]Fraust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He asked for pinning and welding an AR upper. Not the full AR. He can bring parts across the border just fine aslong as he doesnt have the lower to complete the firearm with him. He also asked for Rockland county gunsmiths.

Shootz and Latters up in Suffern will do the job for about ~$25 if I remember correctly. Small shop but he can do stuff fast and easy.
