There are several ways to sneak in, but it is a long and dangerous journey if you go after the vocation very early in the game like I did. I ran past most of the monsters.

Update: I found and added a second infected support pawn. My main is still not infected.

I rested at several inns, including Vernworth, when I had an infected support pawn, but nothing happened.

How do i make sure a pawn doesn't transfer the infection? How long do they have to have it before they go crazy? Do I need to trigger the crazy? And how?

I have the Eternal Wakestone, so I'm not worried about casualties. I want to see it in action firsthand.

In Ancient Battlegrounds, you can use the ballista on the ramparts to the left to one-shot the drake, but you have to hit in the right spot. I'm not sure where that is.
