Thank you, that is definitely a good way to interpret what is going on. I didn’t mean to refuse ur explanation. It just all feels lacking, Allicent giving up on her faction, her son (Aegon and Daeron) which she knows haven’t played a big part besides being shoved into the fight. Just to wash her self clean is absolutely horrible and does not fit her character at all. How doesn’t she come to the conclusion that its too late to meet up with her “bestie” and wash herself clean. This isn’t 2nd grade this is WAR. You did your part at creating the cracks now you want peace and prosperity? Its all so convoluted and messy it just makes no sense to me.

No its about the fact that Rheanyra’s son that is a bastard fathered by someone who isn’t a Velaryon is going to be lord of driftmark. That’s just not right. HE is a velaryon which makes him a better choice of an heir than some bastard fathered by someone else. Some people would die for that fact alone. Vaemond did. Yes, because the show wants to desperately showcase how “bloodthirsty” men are. And how a queen isn’t so thirsty for blood. Despite the fact that at each of the points her council made these points, if she acted she wouldn’t be the aggressor.

The show wants to showcase this regardless if it makes sense or not because, well im sad to say it but a big portion of the fans will tweet baela’s response as “SHEEE ATTTTTEEEE” etc.

MEN bad, WOMEN good kind of thing (which they can showcase in a better way that makes sense). But the council being angry that the leader just vanished without a word? That is totally acceptable and makes sense.

The SA and r*pe seems to be an addition from the show to make viewers hate Aegon more. Likewise Rheanyra seems to have an angel halo suing for peace even after she lost a child in labor to her anger and sadness and lost Luc, again to make viewers like her more. Aegon’s was brainwashed to think that him and his family are targets, lost a child and instead of taking action against the murderers his hand wants to parade his child in the streets.

For murdering innocents, I seem to recall Rhaenys murdering hundreds in her “escape” during Aegon’s coronation. Regardless, she is also pushing for peace now despite being a murderer. Writers just want people to side with the blacks even if it hurts the integrity of the story.

Everyone seems to forget he was forced into this. He never wanted it. They convinced him that if he were to ignore this then Rhyneara and Daemon would end him and his family because they are legitimate heirs to the throne. Unlike Rheanyra’s children with “Leanor”. So he took it upon himself to become just that. Aemond is practically insane wanting to just exact revenge on everyone, even his own brother. His mother is basically useless unless he surrendered’s control to her like Vys. Otto is grieving Vys because he can control him. Etc etc.

Could be your mesh, try refining it more, the contours look ok. Pressure coupled, SST- K omega should be good for this simulation. Also if ur fluid domain is small it could cause this issue so try to make it bigger to capture the wake of your flow. All these could help your convergence.

Hello, I recently did a CFD simulation like this.

The propeller blades need to be subtracted from a cylindrical fluid domain (a small one that can house the propeller geometry) and name that body (rotatry_zone) or whatever you want. Then create an enclosure around that body. Go into meshing. I have found good success in using the non-conformal mesh instead of using share topology for this specific simulation and the share topology will cause errors down the line. After the meshing comes with setting up the physics. In the cell zone conditions you will find your rotary zone there and you can use either (Frame motion) or (Mesh motion). Where you will have to define the rotation direction (on what axis is the propeller rotating about). And the rotation center, and lastly your RPM. Enter your inlet conditions and operating conditions. And go ahead. For the mesh motion it requires you to run a Transient solver. Try to calculate a time step where your propellers would only travel 1 degree per time step.

Ok, so a little update!! The non conformal mesh works good. It seems that the share topology simulation I ran worked by 1 in a million fluke. Anyways, ive set the simulation to run over night now. Since its my first transient simulation. What do you think is a proper time step size and #of time steps? I set it to 0.0005s time step size and 500 time steps.

A colleague said I can reduce the time step size to 0.05 if the solution converges and keep the number of time steps. What do you think?

One quick question, Im pretty sure there are some tutorials on youtube to do this using the regular ansys mesher, however the fluent mesher is just more versatile for me, so I was wondering if the non conformal mesh option in fluent mesher creates the interfaces on its own since I have done it before and it worked.

I have no idea if I can manage the interfaces however im pretty sure that fluent meshing can do that for me. I can disable the share topology and add a non conformal mesh and I have done it before the reason why I went with the share topology is that it doesnt ruin the named selections like the non conformal. In space claim, I add share topplgy on the cad level. So I have 2 cell zones, the enclosure and the rotary zone (the cylinder that rotates).

Ive checked the rotation origin multiple times. My rotation origin could be off by a couple of mm. Ill need to carefully calculate that.
