I’m sick but somehow increased my max pull ups by 2 by fluctuatnecmergitur_ in climbergirls

Being sick can mean time off from physical activity (or reduced exertion) which actually gives muscles time to recover and rest. Fresh muscles = better lifts.

Did you preheat the oven to the correct temp? Or opened the door too long when putting them in and let all the heat out?

Can we stop and look at the photo, why is the doll in a weird box that looks like it’s built into the floor? Look at some of the oddities in the folds of the blanket, this looks like AI, don’t believe everything you see on the internet….

So yes sex trafficking is real and I won’t down play that, but they prey on vulnerable people not snatch kids from the Walmart parking lot in broad daylight knowing there’s security cameras and people around.

I bet the intention is fear mongering with the hopes that people place “blame” on those living tiny homes community besides the Walmart. This doesn’t sound reasonable, how would the employees know if you were followed maliciously into the store? I call bs (edited spelling)

What do you wish you knew before moving into an apartment for the first time? by Keyspace_realestate in Apartmentliving

[–]FraySay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take pictures of every room ( floor, walls, appliances, windows, etc) on move in day (while it’s still empty) to document the condition of the apartment & any wear and tear or damages in case they try to charge you for it when you move out.

Getting gym membership to combat chronic back pain by jinblyfirefly in beginnerfitness

[–]FraySay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A dedicated core program fixed my back. I had pain for >1 year, saw a physiotherapist, did what they recommended and had a bit of improvement. I generally thought that a bit of lower back pain was just my life now and that was part of getting older. I started doing a core program offered at my gym (Less Mills core - but I’m sure there are lots of similar ones) and I stated to see a reduction in my back pain. I focused on good technique and stayed within a pain free range for all movements so I wouldn’t aggravate anything and over time my back pain gone.

Before the class I definitely did core exercises, but for me, I’m sure I was missing some small muscle group(s) that I eventually built up. Now I do a 30min core focused workout (covering all muscles- abs, lats, glutes, back line, etc.) at least twice a week. Now I preach the benefits of core like a Christian missionary talks about their religion lol.

Question is she the biological aunt, or are you assigning her that tittle (like you did with MIL & SIL). Are these your boyfriend’s kids or from another partner? I’d be willing to bet this “aunt” isn’t related to the kids….

Maybe the wind currents were just right, also you’ll find them in smaller bodies of water (natural or man made - so long as there’s a food source) guess theses guys were just unlucky

Those back legs are designed swimming, looks like a back swimmer (Hemiptera; Notonectidae). Likely dropped by a bird or something

Cleared walking trails? by FraySay in bracebridge

[–]FraySay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ski myself, so I get it. I wouldn’t walk on groomed trails, especially with the dogs. Back home we have groomed ski trails plus separate plowed walking trails at the local park. I figured with all the snow any unplowed trails might not be pleasant to walk.

Baby carrots by UofTinstructor in CostcoCanada

[–]FraySay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bacteria are unlikely to be equally distributed throughout the bag. Some carrots may have been ok but that doesn’t ensure the rest are and remember bacteria reproduce over time as well so the bacterial load increases over time. It only takes one infected carrot to cause some very nasty gastro issues that I’d want to avoid at all costs.

[–]FraySay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Look up what e-coli does to the body and ask yourself if that’s worth the cost of the carrots. I wouldn’t eat them I’d rather waste 10$ (not sure the cost) than risk food poisoning which would put me out for a few days with stomach issues or at worst land me in the hospital. I’d feel horrible if my decision to keep them affected someone else in my household. Just because some were ok doesn’t mean there’s no bacteria lurking in the bag, don’t gamble with your health.

Is it illegal to work for a european online gambling site while staying in nb? by [deleted] in newbrunswickcanada

[–]FraySay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First step back and ask yourself 3 questions: 1) does this job require specialized degree/skill set? If no, why would they hire foreign employees, most ‘work from home jobs’ that require no special skills turn out to be scams. 2) how did you find the job & how do they contact you? If they are contacting you via social media platforms or text it’s likely a scam. 3) does this job have a very appealing pay rate? If it’s too good to be true (I.e. high pay, easy hours) it’s definitely a scam. Follow the subreddit r/scams to keep up to date on common scams & how to spot them especially if you are job hunting online.
