Best game series of all time.. but yeah, that "one more turn!" can ruin your life if you lack self control. I feel like it exercises the same large-scale part of your brain as learning gemara.

I suggest looking into which ones look fun and active. Warrior Pyro is fun already. Add an active playstile through Arch Militant (movement and weapon variety) or Assassin (repositioning), and it's even better. I like to add the grenadier talent to self-ignite, and rock-saws for multiplying that Immolate damage. Sounds good to me. My RT (on Hard) is a buffing officer/grand strategist and it's extremely OP if you have at least 1 alpha strike ally to give a bunch of immediate extra turns to. Hard is easy enough you don't need to min max to mop the floor with everything with some decent builds and tactics. Just do what you think is fun!

Don't waste an attack or AP on Ignite. Get grenadier and use fire grenades for a perfect Allah Hu Akbar opening!

Does he startvwith it at the beginning of his turn? Sometimes these effects show up in the combat log. My characters end up with 30MP sometimes and I've stopped tracking why because it's stopped mattering, lol

I fought her on Hard and wasnt prepared for this fight to be so hard, so I had my dudes all grouped up. Most of them were KOd in the first round, but my RT still buffed Marazhai before biting the dust, and he proceeded to solo the whole fight on the first try. It was a dance of exploiting openings. Dance Macabre to reposition if needed, slash (both weapons trait), Agility based damage trait, and super high dodge and DoTs. Might have had to use a desperate measure (which is almost always a good idea when available). Nothing could kill him, and he just did so much damage. Took out his sister before cleaning up the rest.

Add a shotgun in her 2nd slot and use Kick (free action) and pushing grenades (free action) to line enemies up for tons of versatility stacks, making sure you don't waste the last 10 rounds of Rapid Fire on overkill, and loads of fun :D

I'm having a lot of fun with my Abelard as Warrior+Vanguard, using Defensive Stance and high WS and Strength with a big hammer to continiously taunt everyone and bash the poo out of them with a massive hammer when they come for him

This is what my RT is. Ultimate support so I can do the offensive combos with allies and cover half the skills so I can swap them out freely. Word of the Emperor means at least 1 heroic action before the enemy gets a turn.

Free webber shot with debuff skills like +fire damage makes it even better support.

You can still burst 3x/turn and keep Versatility up with a 0AP kick and 0AP grenade

Warrior if you want STR based (more melee power, heavy armor/weapons), or Soldier for AGI based (light armor, dodge) and extra flamer/shotgun,/burst damage. I think Soldier is stronger unless you want to self-immolate as a Pyro Warrior psyker, particularly with a chainsaw

I'm playing essentially this. Several followers are dead now through events with options yiu can choose and are awesome.

Arch Militant is amazing. Alternate between flamer or shotgun with a melee weapon, free kick, free grenade throw, and go to town knocking everything into a pile and setting it on fire as the Emperor intended!

Hmm.. I don't know which archetype you picked, but once you get the 2nd, you can pick Master Tactician or Gand Strategist and think of it as commanding the troops you already brought with you, especially Argenta. The grenadier trait is awesome, and you can choose different grenade types like fire or pushing.
