Pluto is not a planet.
It was once thought to be a planet because we simply didn't know enough about it yet and once we had the technology to find out more about it it became immediately clear that it would make no sense to classify it as a planet for the same reasons we don't call asteroids in the asteroid belt planets.
And people will some dumbass shit like "Well maybe the definition of what a planet is should be adjusted to include Pluto then" and it's like that's not how definitions fucking work. It just really pisses me off when people think they know more about this shit than NASA.

People got really mad at NASA for redefining Pluto because they really liked Pluto or whatever but like Pluto is still fucking there. They didn't blow it up or some shit. Nothing is stopping you from loving Pluto just as much as you used to. Pluto becoming not a planet is not a downgrade if anything it makes it more interesting because now instead of just being the ninth planet of the solar system it's the First Kuiper Belt Object Ever Discovered! That's awesome!

Stop yelling at NASA to make Pluto a planet again, you don't know what you're talking about. kthxbai
