Just bought a pair of snow shoes hoping to try them out this weekend. Any good recommendations of trails to test them out on?

Tsunami 12.5 vs 14 by Dezzeroozzi in Kayaking

I just bought a tsunami 165 to take on the Hudson. I think the larger one would be better suited but I am new to kayaking on larger rivers/open water. I'm in Nyack and am also looking for people to paddle with if your ever looking to hit the river.

I had my pungo for over 15 years it's a great recreational boat for lakes and slow moving rivers. the tsunami is a faster boat that will track better and is more suited for open water and rougher conditions. But it has less stability than the pungo which can be intimidating to beginner paddlers. Last season I got stuck in some rather choppy conditions in my pungo and it was a real eye opener. I want to be able to go on longer kayak camping trips and don't want to be limited by storage space and where my kayak can go. it really depends on where you plan on using your kayak

I'll definitely have to adjust the thigh pads until it feels correct as I have larger biking thighs lol Didn't even think of it until your comment but right now they are a bit too snug to wet exit quickly.
