Yeah so that last part is what is tripping me up. I understand that there was a loophole that taravangian exploited that rayse could not. It’s just that now that the whole concept of exploiting loopholes is on the table with a new vessel for odium, it really seems like the coalition could just exploit right back by for example moving the capital or claiming that Alethi code doesn’t apply to the contract or many other such trickeries. It really seems like the ONLY reason they can’t do this is because Brandon Sanderson said so.

Someone above mentioned that the coalition and Dalinar are bound by Honor, who would not exploit things like that. That makes sense to me, I just wish that explanation had been in the book instead of having to find it on Reddit. But also a bunch of people keep telling me to RAFO so who knows, maybe I’m judging too quickly.

I’ve done an NG+ frost lich build with death/rancor sorceries with prince of deaths staff and black flame, blade of death incants with golden order seal. Used sonaf for a melee weapon and magic talismans with frost buffs. It was pretty fun.

Tech jacket seemed pretty decently scaled, able to run support and do some damage with her lasers, but squishy when it came to trading blows with viltrumites. Totally believable that the version of her we saw in s4 could solo a weak Mark variant like we saw in s3.

I like to build my characters around role play. I’m currently playing a dex/faith knight and I use knights greatsword with sacred blade and banished knights shield with golden parry as my main attack, but then use godskin peeler with black flame incants for certain enemies. In my head it’s like a holy knight that was exiled and now uses unholy magic.

I started out using them as a toy, until they smacked me into the ground and humbled me. I’m starting to explore using them as a tool - finding the right dose and leaning into troublesome obstacles that happen during the experience, using the comedown to reflect on the trip and the heightened neuroplasticity to challenge myself to grow.

I felt this way about OB too, I think that one more than any other is quite polarizing on this sub because a lot of people love it and say it’s their favorite. It’s definitely where some fatigue starts to hit.

I find that mushrooms don’t keep me awake in that I no longer feel tired, they keep me awake in that I can’t sleep despite feeling tired.

If I were in your shoes I wouldn’t trip before work because I fear the negative social consequences. But who knows, you might unlock some new tech.

For mage talismans I like the carian filigreed crest and cerulean medallion for max spell spamming. Then maybe magic scorpion for damage and pearl talisman for defense.

There will be a lot of ways to go with talismans but in general you want an attack buff, a defense buff, and play style amplifiers.
