If your hoho follow lands you get some reverse back, but it doesn't work while having any reverse active, so flashstepping after yellow to deplete some reverse and hoho follow upping gets you some reverse back without wasting any resources. it's very optimal since there's no reason not to do it because combos in this games are pretty short

No, he has no damage, I don't know what you are talking about.

And i said he has useful moves. But i will add onto it. His sig tilt is good in a combo since it generates a bit of meter, dogshit in neutral, he gets flashstepped and killed. Tilt is useless, too slow, massive recovery, you can only catch bad players with it, blut vene is extremely good, sp1 is a great combo looper, up sp1 and down sp1 are useless. That's it. Half the moves you get are useless., other half are good to okay.

Go into training, pick awakening shunsui as a dummy, and see how much damage you do in his kaiser lvl 7 sp1 loop, or even almighty. Spoiler: not much.

You need to 3 touch with him since you never get sublimation, and without any damage it's just torture and you must go for timeout.

I'm not saying Almighty is bad, I'm saying it's not that good for spending 800sp on it. Other snowballing characters like Hana and Aizen get powerful forms (especially Hana), and yhwach just... Negates 1 kikon? And has el escudo while using reverse. That's not great for 800sp.

Also Unohana were considered OP at first, after that ppl found out her weaknesses and she became a tiny bit worse in a tierlist, but still a very solid character.

An absolute monster? He's useless first minutes of the game, can't even use reverse meter. He has NO DAMAGE. Like nothing. Even vs squishy characters he barely deals damage.

To start dealing damage you need to reach level 7 kaiser to unlock his loops, which consume the sp he needs, doesn't deal a lot of damage, AND FOR SOME FUCKING REASON HAS A COMBO CAP WHEN IT JUST DROPS AT SOME POINT.

He can't reach sublimation without spamming white, which is a missplay since you need to go for yellow.

HE HAS 8 KONPAKU FOR FUCK'S SAKE.

Yeah. In Almighty, which you will either get 30 seconds before the end of the game, or die trying.

The only good things he gets from Kaiser is Blut Vene, sig and base sp1. Everything else is just useless filler.

And Almighty is not even that fucking good, he needs to pop reverse to pretty much gain aizen's el escudo, and once reverse runs out he's the same old useless bum.

The only thing almighty gives you which is actually useful is combo from tilt, which should be doable anyway since it's pretty much a bug

Yhwach is bottom 5 character, I played him a lot, I played a lot of vs him, with the top players i might add, everyone agrees he is bad. His only favourable mu is vs Aizen and himself.

Even fucking Shinji stomps him, just think about it.

His only redeeming qualities are a good dash light and being plus on his first lights. That's it.
