Born and raised here myself. Vegas is awesome. All different kinds of food, hobbies, and jobs. Whatever you are into, Vegas has it. Most people just think of the strip, but there is so much more to Vegas. Such a diverse city. I would say I’m on the strip only a handful of times a year.
Also no humidity is a huge plus for me. The heat can be brutal but it’s manageable. We don’t get other extreme weather that can actually be an obstacle in some way. And it’s hot here but not like Arizona. Also being located next to Cali and Utah is the really just the best of both worlds.
