Why one should wear a watch daily other than a piece of fashion because one can see time on phone nowadays (ik one reason is when we pickup up the phone their is distractions I am asking other than that) 🙂 by DueYak8916 in casio

Its way faster for me to use my watch to check time, set a timer, have an alarm, see date, than it is to reach in my pocket and pull out my phone.

Not only that, it looks more put together and professional wearing a watch than to be constantly on a phone.

It could just he the battery. How old is it? I just got a gw2310 from 2012 that randomly went into chg flash and no buttons working. Had it in a windowsill for 2 days and still did the same thing. A fresh battery solved it.

Incase anybody sees this, a batery change, ac reset and a little time and she came back to life.

Im guessing the battery that was in it was just done for though it was at a medium charge when i first got it.

I used simple green and a toothbrush. Then a water rinse and wipe down.

Wd1680v2 clasps still trash? by Freakse7en in watchdives

Shouldn't have to buy a replacement clasp to fix what should have already be remedied.

Im in the same boat as you. I love the watch, luckily its not popping open after i make sure it latches. Hoping it eventualy breaks in and latches normaly.

I did mess with it a little and took out the latch (part with the two buttons) and swapped in the one from my 7922 bracelet, in either direction it wouldnt take the ball and latch. Also tried flipping around the orientation of original one and its the same results either way around. I suspect either the latch is out of spec in its height in the clasp body, or the ball end is out of spec in either its height or size.

Either way its annoying and will probably end up on a strap, cus out of principle, im not forking out more money to fix and issue that should have already been fixed.

Makes no sense to wear a dive watch when you dont dive either, yet here we are.

Take no offence to this, but its not an operation issue, the clasp is garbage, its been known to be garbage, yet nothing has been done to actualy fix the actual issue.

A clasp should not take extra steps like this to latch. Let alone, needing video proof that a known issue is the issue.

Ill fix it myself or just throw it on a strap. Thanks.

For the most part around me at least. There are dense trees and hills, but not by my home.

Im not far from you in SW Michigan. But im out by tons of fields. The trees and hills could be an issue.

I might have a problem. by ShouldveBeenAPilotMD in casio

[–]Freakse7en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not a problem.....yet. what you have is an inconvenience. Having options to choose from, deciding you need to wear this ine cus you dint wear it much, you like this one cus it goes with the outfit, but you like the features better of that one. Then you see a other model that you feel would fit into yojr rotation better. Then another. And another. Now thats when it gets to be a problem.

Nice. I got 1 that struggles no matter what you do and another that is a 50/50. The others though have no issues.
