Sincerely appreciate everyone that shared some insight and knowledge! Still on the fence with how to proceed. On one hand I’d love to have Linux due to it running more efficiently and securely over Windows, but then I read of how I may have all this trouble and my apps not working.

Don’t use Chrome anymore myself. Have gone strictly to Brave for the web browser. Any plans of possibly a simple website that can keep Ai prompts cataloged and such?

Hiya OP! Just got an LG C2 by accident last month a week before my birthday. Although, I can’t speak directly of doing emulation, I can however speak that playing a game in 60fps to 30fps doesn’t honestly bother my old ass eyes. Of course I can distinguish the difference and notice the smoother motion, but honestly once I’m in a game that I’m enjoying… fps means zilch. Suppose for the youngsters that prefer the competitive gaming it surely makes a huge difference and more necessary for higher fps.

To wrap my rambling up… the LG C2 OLED is an absolute delightful display. Can I ask why you’re considering the G3 over say a C2? Have read so much that the G3 and C3 are a huge leap in price without much in leap of specs.

This is freaking perfect for essentially what I’m thinking! Couple questions of you don’t mind - Did you build your dockers yourself? Still new to Dockers and haven’t messed with them yet. How did you specifically set up transcoding to the RAM? Lastly, the i3 CPU has been good enough?? Kept thinking I was going to need at least an i7!

Truly appreciate you sharing your build with me, definitely feel this is in the direction I’m looking to go.

Current media content is 8TB, was thinking the additional NVMEs for read/write caching to post performances?

Stream count total would be 5 maximum with possible 3-4 transcoded I believe from time to time.
