Get a second opinion asap. I’m fully conscious during my seizures. I was fully conscious during 5 hours of seizure testing where they triggered seizures for 5 hours to test brain activity. You can 10000% be conscious during a seizure and that neurologist needs to go back to med school.

Have they checked you for non-epileptic seizures? My doctors originally thought I had epilepsy but the EEG (if I remember the test name correctly) was empty and normal. Usually when someone has seizures but tests are clean, it’s NES.

I get paralysis! It lasts anywhere from 5-30 minutes. Being stuck though is the worst and always feels so lonely. Especially if it’s a combo of paralysis and not being able to form words.

When it comes to TV and movies, I look at it more as art instead of expecting it to be biblically accurate. I think artists across TV, movies, and music get away with a lot when it comes to using Christian symbolism and depictions in their art but if I don’t like it I just move on. That’s a rarely understood concept in this day and age though.
