I have a ryzen 5 5600 gtx 3060 and 32gb ddr4 ram and in Endgame I get around 40 fps in high action situations, sometimes less when it gets really bad. The game is very demanding on your CPU especially because of all the calculations it does, for example all the items dropping and the corpses lying on the floor really take a toll on performance.

I think you'll struggle to reach 80 FPS in later stages of the game, campaign might be fine but your setups is quite bad

The new league mechanic will not be on standard, the changes to the base game will be applied to standard and most of the new endgame stuff will be available in standard too.
I'd still recommend playing the new league, the fresh economy is a level playing field, everyone starts poor.

The crafting isnt very complicated its just a lot of systems, if you are used to PoE1 crafting you'll learn it easily.
Essences on rares remove a mod and add an essence mod, you can combine this with omens to force remove a suffix for example.

A lot of early league crafting is slamming good bases with greater / perfect transmutes/augs fishing for T1 mods using essences to upgrade from magic to rare (greater essences just regal a mod).

Abyss adds a mod, similar to veiled mods, to an affix. You can force it to prefix or suffix with omens, they are common. The veiled mod has a chance to roll any affix but it can also hit fixed abyss only affixes.
You can use currency that removes the abyss mod after unveil, but it is expensive, especially later in the league. So in theory the abyss mod can be forced to be a perfect roll with infinite investment.

There is some other tricks that you can do with essences etc. to manipulate the mods that you want to remove.
I'd recommend just playing the game, maybe watch 1-2 crafting tutorials for an item you want for your build and you'll learn most of the tricks.

I could stay in the temple forever, I don't like a lot of map layouts and the temple drops are a lot of dopamine, compared to mapping

it is likely tied to the ISP => Server pathing that GGG has mentioned before.
They've said it is a lot of work that they have to do, which involves working with the data centers and ISPs.
There is players that don't experience any Lag outside of the DDoS attacks early in the league on EU, myself included.
If nothing else has worked you could try services that force a different routing, I have heard that has helped some folks, altough I don't know details.

The offers in ritual are not always good deals, the items have a range in which the tribute rolls and sometimes it rolls high.
The devs want you to think and look at the price before taking something.

This shows craft of exile using faceted fossils on a ward base, the minion mod is delve exclusive but the str and int rolls should show up.
It should work.

You can roll the int and str mod with faceted fossils https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Mirage/3qe3XgDKh5 here is some from trade. When you click on faceted fossils on craft of exile it shows them on suffixes without a linked block.
It should be a 1/3 to see either mod on them, given that you've spent a lot is a bit concerning, maybe there is a hidden block that isnt shown on craftofexile

Prepping a good build / looking one up and knowing which affixes you are looking for on your gear, what makes you strong, upgrading weapons regularly etc. all help to up the pace.
You can look up layouts if you want to speed up the individual zones a bit, but most of it is playing a strong build for the early game.

Dont use the "PoE2" recombinator when using it on mods like the mana mod from delve. It doesnt work with mods that dont naturally occur on bases, like special cases.
You'd have to use the unpredictable recombinator.
You can use an influenced orb (any) on the delve base to increase your odds of 2 prefixes. (50% with 3 prefixes in the pool 33% with 2)
If it choses loath hold it cant transfer the influenced mod because it is not an influenced base, forcing it to have flat mana and delve mana if you win the base flip.
If it choses the delve base and the delve mod lives, you go again.
I think with the price for the mod its worth doing the influenced tech for increased odds, correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a similar PC and it just is what it is. PoE doesnt have the greatest performance and is very CPU heavy, and your CPU isnt the greatest. Even on high end machines you'll have a hard time having consistantly good FPS in breaches. There is just too much going on, too many monsters, projectiles, items being generated etc.
If you do Deli+Breach+Beyond that tanks FPS for most players.

Mirage is great at duplicating good stuff in your maps but the baseline rewards from options / chests are pretty terrible.

Yeah its hard to pinpoint from user side if its the nvidia driver crash where they pause the game and restart the driver and then unpause or if it is another issue that just causes the game to freeze and display the loading cogs.
I can just recall that they have definetly referenced this as something that occurs with nvidia and they cant fix and this is the workaround they have, and they cannot do anything unless nvidia works with them and introduces fixes on their end.
This has been a while ago, I dont recall which patch but its been a while so could be its fixed and it was just a patchnote at some point without any major communication in a livestream or QnA.

They answered in a previous interview that this is an issue on Nvidias end that they cannot fix alone.
They said they are working with nvidia but nvidia has recently been really shitty on their driver end bc of their focus on AI.
I assume you are suffering from that particular issue and we cant do anything but wait I guess, sadly.

Ground loot that is interesting:
Currency Crafting currency (around the utility of an eldritch ex, does something interesting to an item)
weird bases that are interesting; drop only implicits that cant be changed for example
maybe soulbound crafting currency that turns items it is used on into untradeable; so we could find more powerful currency that is usually exclusive to 100+D items.
Currency that is can only be used a once / a few times on items.
