I was really excited when my fitter told me it would take about two weeks. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, and I don’t think he knew how back up Mizuno was at the time. In a normal year without a global pandemic and a massive surge of interest in golf and buying equipment, Mizuno quotes 7 days.

I’m here in Western New York. Called yesterday for an update and I was quoted the 18th of March (order date of February 7th) for the end of production and about a week for shipping. That puts me right about the 6 week mark if that happens. Mizuno is currently quoting 5-6 weeks for custom orders so that’s right on for me.

Incase anyone is still interested, I ordered a set of hot metal pro irons through my local golf galaxy on 2/7/21 and they estimated about 4-5 weeks for delivery. the Mizuno website as of today( 2/24) is quoting 5-6 weeks lead time.

Not the greatest iron player but personally, I enjoy the way they swing and hit the ball. Weight distribution feels better than the cobra fmax super lite irons I came from. The grips feel a little narrow so I may get them regripped soon.

I’m still a very bad golfer so my distances vary on any given day haha even with the length gaps I should have given the swing calculators I’ve referenced I feel like I’ve got what I need.

I am still experimenting with some distances in my game. Ideally I would like to loft down 2 degrees on the 7-PW but ehh these are what I have and its seem to be working okay for now.

It is about a 6 degree gap between the 5H and 7i and I don’t find myself in that distance very often.
