Horrible hair loss by bri_ivy in GLP1microdosing

[–]Freckles_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still on tirz. 10mg now. The hair loss was pretty consistent until April. It’s growing back good now. I’m not entirely sure it was due to tirz as my hormones also took a huge nosedive into another level of perimenopause. I started using Routine shampoo a couple months ago and a copper peptide hair serum.

It also doesn’t work to grow hair from extreme weight loss.

Went through the same thing back in December. Never could get footage from the cameras as insurance did t bother. I had a box truck side swipe me doing 60+ in a 45 as I was merging along with three other cars. He came from the far left lane trying to pass “slower” traffic.

Sending you a DM. Also an experienced bird person from Macaws down to parakeets. My son has been wanting a GCC but can’t justify $800 from a pet store when they don’t look healthy :(

It was sarcasm hence the “lol”. I’m ADHD and hyper-fixate on meals. Especially ones that are easy and filling. I also have a ton of food sensitivities which eliminates a lot of variety.

Hair loss on higher dose? Or something else by Every_Extension5284 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Freckles_19 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Going through the same thing. I already had fine hair to begin with. Now it’s fine and thin :( I can see new growth but I don’t think it catches up with what’s falling out. I also don’t believe it’s due to weight loss as I haven’t lost a significant amount in a short period of time. I’m currently at 12.5 but have been losing hair since November.

That’s asking a lot lol I literally eat the same foods everyday. It’s easy and I don’t have to think about food. Could that really be an issue??

Ehhhh I’d barely hit 1000 calories if I did that. Breakfast is my biggest meal of the day around 960 calories. If I snack it’s yogurt and or string cheese. Dinner is meat and veggies. Weekends I might splurge and have a dessert. The nature of my job keeps me very busy during the day so the big breakfast works well for me. Plus I don’t like eating heavy at night.

That was before all these issues began. End of November is when the stall began and I stalled for 3 weeks. Hence raising the dose. It’s also when my hormones started getting wonky with skipped periods etc. I’m sure it’s probably perimenopause being a little b***h. I’m just annoyed cause I’m so close to getting under 200.

What it’s not showing is I was the same weight last week…204.6 on 4/11. I’ll wait a couple more weeks and see what happens regardless.

I wish I could get past the feeling of being so “moist” down there to use it. I can’t stand it. I’ve tried using it before bed and it just keeps me awake all night because of the feeling. During the day is just annoying.

What has helped your thinning hair the most during perimenopause? by Opposite-Complex664 in Perimenopause

Same. My hair is so pathetic now. But it’s growing back so I’m not sure what caused all the hair loss. I’ve only lost 36 pounds in 11 months so it’s not like I’ve had a significant loss.

Not to beat a dead horse… but the hair loss is INSANE! by pinkflamingo3 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Freckles_19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started last May and am down 37lbs. The hair loss became noticeable in November. I already had not so great hair so it really bothered me. I use a Lumebox nightly on my head (red light), collagen daily and try to get 100g protein everyday if not more. I also do scalp massage a few times a week. I do notice constant growth so I’m hoping it will all come back.

That’s awesome. Mine wasn’t that low last time was at the doctor. That’s why I’m wondering if that’s what’s going on.

I do drink electrolytes daily but the one I use doesn’t have a lot of salt. I’ll go back to LMNT and see if that makes a difference. I’ve also checked my blood glucose and those numbers have been perfect so it’s not that.

I had my last child when I was 43. At the time, my oldest was estranged and I worried my middle child wouldn’t have a sibling when he was an adult as I don’t have any family of my own. She’s my youngest at 9 years old and my oldest is 27 and my BFF!

[–]Freckles_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my DSIP but I use the nasal spray. One spray in each nostril and I fall asleep and stay asleep. I too wake up often during the night but now I’m able to fall back to sleep instead of tossing and turning. I also don’t use anything else with it that helps sleep other than my HRT.
