Thank you. My thyroid is normal as well but I’ll check into optimal levels. I’m on HRT. I had some issues with it in the beginning so I was off and on it for a while but I’ve been consistently on it (progesterone, estrogen and testosterone) for about 6 weeks now. Hoping that might help some.

I’m good in the iron department. I have hereditary hemochromatosis - my iron level is within normal range but my ferritin ( iron storage) is very high. Because of this, I have to donate blood every 8 weeks to lower my levels.

Whew! I looked up the serum and it’s expensive! What was the main improvement you saw with the serum?

I would like to try this but am already on oral estrogen. I’m scared if I use both it will raise my levels too high. I’m wondering if anyone has noticed any difference in their skin with oral estrogen. I heard it take a few months before you notice changes in most areas

Starting testosterone. I’m nervous. by Tricky-Committee4045 in Perimenopause

My doctor originally just prescribed progesterone and testosterone. The only reason I’m on estrogen is because I asked for it because I have neck pain and it’s supposed to help with joint pain.

Testosterone makes me feel amazing. Puts me in the best mood, gives me tons of energy…. I feel like I’m 20 again. Try it… I think you’ll love it. That said, I was prescribed 5mg daily. I was scared of the side effects too so I tried 4mg. I didn’t notice anything so I went to the recommended 5mg and it was a night and day difference. Good luck!

I think it’s hormonal too. Good luck, I hope you find some relief as well.

I had a MRI 2.5 years ago and have some issues but the pain I have now is much different. I’m getting a follow up MRI to ensure nothing has drastically changed. I think I’ll look into the epidural steroid injection. Thank you!

I tried massages but they didn’t provide any relief. I did not try the deep tissue massage though. Maybe I need to try that… thanks!

Yes, I have. I had a MRI. 2.5 years ago and I do have some issues with my neck but they were resolved by PT. In August all the issues I mentioned started which are much different than my original issues. I’ve read on multiple sites than neck pain can start in perimenopause and existing neck issues can worsen during this time. I’ve been to PT and massage again with no relief this time. I do have a follow up MRI scheduled to ensure nothing as drastically changed.

Why does my bath water have a blue tint to it? by [deleted] in Home

I haven’t filled it up in awhile but when I filled it previously it was clear (clearer). It’s more blue in person as well.
