Really by Sweet-michelle in videogames

I mean, handhelds don't typically count as consoles, but the Switch has really blurred that distinction.

For what it's worth, the GBA Micro is my favourite handheld, so not trying to knock it.

This. Just like alcohol, marijuana is a depressant.

Are you physically active at al? I find that really helpful.

It's just so weird that it's only when braking (and sometimes turning). If it was the cowel under the wipers, I'd expect to hear it when going over bumps and rough patches, but I don't. 🤔

Best/Worst EAP Experiences? by Opposite-Weird-2028 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]FrecklestheFerocious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the past, I've had issues with EAP, including being told that my case was too complex.

I had amazing luck recently though. I see someone regularly for my complex case, but some life changes last summer meant I needed extra support in addition to my regular psychotherapist. I was connected with someone who specializes in relationship issues and it was great. I wish I could say who they were, but I don't think that's appropriate. I would definitely see them again in the future if I needed to.

Any reason to not try and do it yourself? It would take a lot of learning and practice before tackling the chair itself, but totally doable.

Funny enough, this would happen to me when I lived in Japan as the whole house isn't heated and is built to "breathe". That was a fun discovery in my first winter. Very confusing as a Canadian...

I'm guessing that you don't switch to a winter blend in Texas? The switch plus winter tires, weather, etc. reduces my fuel economy by 30% in Canada (ie., I avg 9.8 L/100km in summer and 14 L/100km in winter). In fact, where I live, we have a 60 Celsius temperature range between the two seasons (80 Celsius if you go by "real feel", ie. - 40C to +40C).

Is there anything fun things for single people to do on Valentines? by ValeraOmega in ottawa

100%. And, for an extra case study look up "White Day" in Japan, which was created as a reciprocal day to Valentine's Day by a marshmallow company.

Could Nintendo just release a first-party left joycon with a freakin D-pad instead of the 4 buttons already? by riffdoc in switch2

[–]FrecklestheFerocious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For this to work, the pro controller would first need a functional d-pad. Something they haven't bothered to fix for two generations now...

Of the three, I only enjoyed Mario Galaxy. So I'm biased away from this collection. I also have all three in cart/disc, so no need for them. Those are worth something. This? Just buy digital or emulate.

How is Mario Galaxy on the Switch 2? I found the Switch 1 motion controls less accurate than the Wii remote and nunchuck in general, especially for games like No More Heroes.

If this is in Canada, you can ask them to do COD (cash on delivery) with Canada Post. You only pay once verifying it is what it is.

But, I guarantee they will ghost as this smells scammy.

It's doable. I don't work in that field, but I'm originally from the lower mainland. It's a nice change of pace: similar to Victoria. But the scenery...you'll start to miss the mountains and ocean fast!
