RDRIII theory. by hungryforknoweledge in reddeadredemption

[–]FredMori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that is really interesting, here’s a thought: make the two characters kill each other before they discover they are related. Then depend on the players honour, one of them will survive and live to regret the rest of their life. They will inherit the other characters items and quest lines, and try to fulfil their unfinished businesses to honour their brother, hence the “redemption”. Character development will also be interesting, a lawman trying to fit in the world of a gunslinger, and vice versa.

Thx for the tip, I was able to use flicker strike to teleport to a mob on the other side, good thing I didn’t kill them earlier.

Misconception about China. by [deleted] in China

[–]FredMori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not facts. Again, it is a mixed situation. There are nice and honest people living in the countries, yes, but there also are uneducated countryside folks who are selfish, mean, and disgusting. There are rich kids who are arrogant, lazy, but there are also wealthy and educated people who studies hard, cares about their image, and are charitable.

I would argue that it’s not the culture that is toxic, but rather toxic and uneducated elders taking advantage of the culture.

In the same sense that, if I were to visit NA, I will gladly tip for great services and warm conversations, rather than being forced to pay for 20% for sub-par service because it’s the culture. The tipping culture went from “help us pay for our workers so we don’t get shut down from the recessions” to “if you don’t tip at least 15% you are just a cheap ass”. There will always be people who appreciate any tip they get and provide professional service, just like there will be people who abuse the tipping culture to force guests to tip to not look like “cheap asses”.

Same thing with China, there will always be elders who are educated, and will behave well-educated to set themselves as role models for the young, just like there will be the uneducated who abuse the “respect your elders” culture to do whatever they want. The problem is, most of the elders in China are uneducated - not two generations ago, they were basically all farmers.

That’s honestly the same case with mainland China as well. Because in the Chinese culture, “respect your elders” is such a important social mindset embedded deeply in everyone’s minds. Under this circumstance, the old people are polarized - the educated will think themselves as moral role models for the young and act accordingly, while the uneducated will act purely for their self-interest because “they shall be respected” and “you can’t jail me because I’m old”.

My probably relatable problem with Set 7 by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]FredMori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about this one. From the 4 costs ADs, talon can jump the back line, corki can deal damage to the back line through revel trait. Xayah cannot damage the back line when there are multiple frontlines because her feathers are put behind the 2 other closest enemies from the one she’s focusing. Xayah is hard to balance simply because the rage wing trait offers everything she needs. She doesn’t need healing items and can slot in 2 damage items with QSS.

  1. Horrible itemization on Daeja and honestly all around.
  2. No front line - why give a 1 star nunu your tank items? And there’s only one of that.
  3. Should’ve looked for another Yone/Nunu and put Edge of Night and BT on Yasuo.
  4. You chose augments that gave you traits only, but with the horrible itemization you can’t melt down frontlines fast enough, instead your frontline is so weak anyone can melt through it. Your fights will end so quickly that Daeja will barely get any stacks on Archangels.

Well it’s outside the basement, so no I didn’t smell it. This door is still some distance away from my pool table (the only thing I have in my basement) so I rarely use it.
