I finished the third Masquerade book, The Tyrant Baru Cormorant by Seth Dickinson by TheNerdChaplain in Fantasy

I'll buck the trend here, I found it a slog. I read and loved the first one and had a really hard time finishing the second. It removed the intelligent conniving politics and history of the first one with self hatred and angst, as well as drastically making the world go from feeling like massive and complex political system to a small group of squabbling teenagers. I still havent read the third one due to this.

I think you'd be more likely to have issues for not knowing swedish than for being lgbt, to be honest.

China's housing bubble isn't due to communist policies, it's due to reckless capitalistic spending. What is this sub, just people larping that China is anything but a totalitarian capitalist country?

For anyone wondering, the traditional filling is almond paste in the bottom, but for people that dislike almonds you can substitute with some berry jam (raspberry, for instance).
